Mulberry Tree Cottage
Dies ist das ursprüngliche Haus der Familie Kohilis und über hundert Jahre alt (Baujahr 1905). Es ist ein altes Landhaus aus Stein, das kürzlich restauriert wurde, um geräumige und komfortable Unterkünfte zu bieten.
Es verfügt über eine große Terrasse mit Maulbeerbäumen und Pergola, um Schatten zu spenden, sowie Holzbänke und einen Tisch für Mahlzeiten im Freien. Auf einer Seite befindet sich ein aus Stein gebauter Grill und ein Waschbecken. Ein Pool befindet sich unterhalb und in der Nähe des Hauses mit weiteren Gärten.
Das Haus ist zweistöckig.
Die Haupttür führt in das Wohnzimmer im Erdgeschoss mit traditionellem Kamin.
Ein paar Stufen führen Sie in die Küche, die Holzbalken freiliegt und voll ausgestattet ist.
Eine Seitentür öffnet sich zum Küchenbereich im Freien.
An der Seite der Küche befindet sich das Badezimmer mit Badewanne / Dusche, WC und Waschbecken mit Marmorplatte.
Eine innere Holztreppe führt zum schönen, klimatisierten Hauptschlafzimmer, in dem sich ein skopelitisches Plattformbett und ein Kamin befinden.
Es ist voller Charakter mit eleganten Innendekoren, die sich perfekt für die herrlich friedliche ländliche Umgebung eignen. Sie befinden sich am Hang mit Blick auf das Potami-Tal, auf einem Land, das seit über 100 Jahren im Besitz der Familie Kohilis ist. Das Potami-Gebiet ist ein Teil der Insel, der reich an Wasser mit zahlreichen Quellen ist und daher mit einfachen Bäumen und Obstgärten bedeckt ist. Das ganze Gebiet bietet viele wundervolle Spaziergänge mit Wegen, die durch die Berge, vorbei an malerischen Kapellen und anderen Hütten bis zur Küste führen. Wenn Sie eine Holzbrücke überqueren, betreten Sie das 15 Hektar große Grundstück, das mit Oliven-, Pflaumen-, Walnuss-, Kirsch-, Kastanien- und Mandelbäumen bedeckt ist. Eine asphaltierte Straße führt Sie zu den Cottages.
Die Lage ist die schönste in der Mitte der Insel, in einer grünen Umgebung mit vielen Quellen. Alle Cottages sind von vielen Bäumen und Pflanzen umgeben, der Pool und der Sonnenbereich bilden einen sehr abgelegenen und ruhigen Ort. Die perfekte Flucht. Ein wunderschöner Ort in einer grünen Umgebung, romantisch weg.

If you are looking for total peace and quiet, surrounded by fruit trees and rich woodlands, with a small pool to cool off in, and a large terrace with outdoor kitchen, look no further.

This place is every bit as beautiful as the photos show. Totally secluded. So relaxing to sit outside - always somewhere comfortable in the shade or the sun to read and watch the lizards! Pipitsa was the perfect host: responsive, helpful, friendly, welcoming... arranged car hire for us, left us a bottle of wine, met us off the ferry, advised us on boat rental, provided mosquito repellent - what more could you ask for?
Cooking in the outside kitchen was really good fun and taking a midnight dip in the pool to watch the stars (and bats) was wonderful. The whole property struck the perfect balance between simple, stylish and comfortable. I wouldn't have changed a thing (apart from maybe one or two more windows protected by mosquito nets). Would highly recommend. Thank you, Pipitsa!

We are just sat by the beautiful pool on our last day at Mulberry Tree Cottage and I couldn't wait to the leave a review. We have had a wonderful week of peace and quiet in this beautiful cottage. The view is spectacular and the cottage and gardens are perfect for a restful trip.
Mulberry Tree is the perfect distance from the main town of Skopelos and the beautiful beaches on the island (our favourites are Kastani and Agnondas). The lovely owners arranged car hire for us along with a travel cot for our 1 year old and a car seat. The owners have been so welcoming from the moment I first messaged, to meeting us from the boat and the whole way through our holiday. The pool, BBQ and seating area are so private and relaxing and the cottage has everything you need for a relaxing holiday.
We would highly recommend Skopelos and especially Mulberry Tree Cottage. Thank you for making our first family holiday so special.

We spent a blissful ten days at Mulberry Tree and couldn't have been happier. The setting, the views, the weather, the privacy, the friendly welcome and the beautiful island of Skopelos, well we just fell in love with the place all over again. Yes it's rural and rustic, don't expect the Ritz, but it has it's own magic and we loved it. The cottage is basic and traditional, but clean and welcoming and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The bedroom is spacious with an amazing wooden vaulted ceiling with exposed beams, and has a triple aspect if you count the door to the outside steps. Stunning views in all directions. The bed on a stage is so comfortable and the bedding soft as silk. We slept really well and woke to the most amazing birdsong. The kitchen is quaint and clean and has more than we needed for our stay. We tended to eat out most of the time as there is so much choice and variety from beachside tavernas to rooftop restaurants, and it needn't be expensive if you're careful. We went in the pool every day, it's small but enough to put in some lengths if you're keeping fit. The bath with handheld shower could do with updating, but it's more than adequate, hot water plentiful, and the towels are fab. There is plenty of room on the large sink surround for storing toiletry bags and toiletries. Gianni and Pipitsa the owners are wonderful and their thoughtful surprises of breakfast hot pies and home made cherry sauce to take home were so lovely. We'd love to go back there, it's a very special place, and we're totally smitten with the Island. With the two neighbouring cottages a short walk away, but not too close ( you can barely see them) it would be a great place for a group of friends or family to go, where couples prefer some privacy but could all gather together at times. I wouldn't recommend it for families with young children because of the steep walls and open sided pool, but for couples wanting a beautiful and secluded romantic hideaway it's perfect.
