Very close to the private Beach area. Nice to open windows when temps fall into 60's at night.Beach area is small but adequate for about 10 families. We only saw about 4 in our 3 days on the beach. Water goes out quite far during low tide , many people bring paddle boards and go out to the many sandbars that appear. Neighbors are very friendly. House was clean and had all necessities. Close drive to Hyannis Main Street. Nice for early morning walk to main st and back about 2 miles
Master bedroom AC kept changing temp up to 86 then turned off compressor, unit should be serviced. It is a standup and you must drain a water pan every morning if it stays on during the night. Other bedroom upstairs unit was fine
Downstairs bedroom was quite warm at night (no AC)when temp was around 80. Ceiling fans help a lot. outside shower was perfect. No issues with hot water. Very refreshing!!!
Green headed flies were a concern so we took deep woods off to the beach. Later found out from the locals that last weeks of July and into August they are very prevalent. This area does not provide big waves and if you like to float in calm water this is the area for you

I was a little concerned about when I’d get check in details. It all worked out but was hard to find out with out calling a few times.

The location is great, and that's what you pay for. But the cottage is dark and damp, the kitchen is miniscule and the bed in the master bedroom was awful--the mattress felt like a box spring. The AC was a portable unit in the master with a big metal tube that ran behind the bed and was super noisy. The toilet upstairs is literally a closet and my husband kept hitting his head on the sloped ceiling. The living room has upholstered furniture that needs to be replaced with something easier to keep clean. The kitchen was greasy inside the cabinets, the toaster oven knob was broken and there was literally no room to prepare any food. In short, expensive and not at all comfortable. Would not rent there again.

My wife and I came here for a babymoon before #2 is born, we don't regret it. The cottage was quiet and cozy, yet had plenty of space. The beach was just a short walk away and is totally private. We would 100% come back again.

View was amazing
Cottage was cute and well appointed. We were disappointed with the conditions though. The screen door was broken. So leaving the slider open for a breeze was not an option. Too cluttered for a rental. Good storage, grill was filthy.

The location is fantastic. The private beach is steps away. The cottage is comfortable and clean. The outdoor shower was refreshing. But most importantly the views were spectacular sunset and sunrise could not be be beat!

Great Location
This house is very cute and so close to the private bay. It was wonderful walking to the beach in the morning, spending the day, and coming back for sunset all while having the option to pop back to the house for a snack or shade. The outdoor shower was also so refreshing.

The house and location was wonderful! The living and kitchen are small as described. We loved how you could see and hear the ocean from the windows and deck. At low tide you can walk way out and explore almost to Sandy Point. If you want a quite get a way with no hassles.....this is it.

Our Stay on Cape Cod
The house and location was wonderful! The living and kitchen are small as described. We loved how you could see and hear the ocean from the windows and deck. At low tide you can walk way out and explore almost to Sandy Point. If you want a quite get a way with no hassles.....this is it.

The cottage was just perfect for myself and my daughter, who had just come back from her deployment. We really loved staying there, there was everything that we needed for cooking, and the place was clean enough, the beds were all made and the bedrooms were clean, the towels were nice and fluffy and the added beach towels were a nice touch.The one thing that I would recommend is to get rid of all of the nick, knacks, fake flowers, etc ... etc...This would leave some room for the guests belongings, and it would feel less cluttered and appear a bit bigger.
I would definitely rent this little cottage again.
