Thank you for a great holiday Gilles, the house had everything we needed and views from every window. The village of Rustrel was absolutely delightful, everything within walking distance, and the people warm and friendly. We particularly enjoyed the amenities at the boulangerie, where we stopped for several delicious lunches and a few early evening beers. The village shop is great, has everything you need , and friendly, helpful staff. The surrounding countryside is spectacular and we had lots of wonderful local walks. Gilles was always on hand if we needed anything, and was a great host. Thank you Gilles, we will certainly recommend the house to our friends and extended family.

The house is extremely spacious, very nicely decorated and the pool was always clean and enticing. The extra amenities in the house made the stay even more pleasant and comfortable for us. Gilles, the host, was always available with tips and information, if needed.

The Mas Olive is the perfect place to enjoy a Provence vacation.It's an ideal spot from where to undertake daily excursions to neighbouring towns and explore the beautiful countryside or just laze away the days under the olive trees, by the pool. The house is perfectly equipped with everything visitors need during their stay. It is beautifully decorated in keeping with Provencal colours and style.The onsite manager, Gilles Combarieu is friendly and helpful and is available in case of any issues (which we did not have). And he speaks excellent English.The village of Rustrel is just big enough to provide necessities such as fresh bread and croissants, two restaurants and a small grocery store that stocks essential items - and an artist's atelier (Mario Roffler) that shouldn't be missed. But it's not so big as to attract hordes of tourists. The nearby town of Apt provides more extensive shopping and supermarkets and one of the best weekly markets in Provence.One of the best places we've stayed in Europe!
