Jackie was an excellent host. Nothing was too much trouble. There is a lovely old charm about the dining room that makes you feel very welcome.

Jackie is a wonderful host. Very welcoming and understanding as we were driving from France for a race day at the near by circuit. Ideal location and we would definitely stay here again.

Great location, very friendly landlady. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Woodlands Club next door very friendly staff and locals.

Host was very welcoming and friendly. Room was very clean and tidy. Lots of variety for continental breakfast and a good attempt to cater to dietary needs. Characterful building.
Messaging from host and Booking.com led us to believe there would be a cooked breakfast on the weekend, however this was not so. Somewhat disappointing.
Although the heating was on, the room was cold as the radiator was at the far end of the room.
No fresh coffee, only instant in the room and at breakfast, not that nice.
Curtains were not lined so let light into the room. New security flood light illuminated the room late at night when other guests returned - although we hadn't noted an extra blind that may have helped.
