Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I was expecting cleaner rooms and bathrooms for the price we paid at Gold status. There was a lot of dust under the beds and around the bedrooms and something in the room or vents that made me sneeze for the entire stay even while taking allergy meds. We had to vacuum the floors and do some of our own cleaning (first day), so I wasn't happy about the condition of the room. The kitchen was nice, though. The bathroom drain adjacent the 2 bed room was stopped up,too. We enjoyed our stay despite my runny nose and sinus issues (from mold and dust maybe because the building needs to be updated), but the room was overpriced.

When we entered the condo it was very dirty, urine on toilet seats, kid prints all over kitchen and walls, greasy remotes, chocolate everywhere, food around mattresses in the kid room, I spent 2 hours cleaning. I spoke with front office on Monday and they refunded the cleaning fee for me. They stated they only were renting this condo for a few weeks so this was not under the care of the on site staff. I assume cleaning prior was not provided by Colony Reef. I suggested a general deep cleaning due to build up on faucets and mildew around bathroom fixtures. Other than that I was very satisfied with the condo. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was stocked well, washer and dryer works well, furniture comfortable. I napped on the loungers on the balcony. Cant really hear the ocean waves crashing due to location from beach due to dunes and the general noise from the pool but that is not a deal breaker. I definitely recommend. There was not a lot of noise, has a huge lawn area people would play games and hang out on at and after dark. I did not use the indoor facilities but the pool was great! So easy for my 6 yo to swim, very large area 3 foot in depth. Has a small kiddie pool and hot tub was always hot! Location for food and activities good, not right up in all the craziness but to to far away if your looking for that atmosphere. I will visit here again if I come back to St. Augustine.

Our unit, 2204, was fairly clean...just a few dust bunnies. The small bedroom with two twin beds is way too cold to sleep in and we could not adjust the vents. Great complex!

Such a wonderful atmosphere for the young who want to play as long a possible with new friends and old friends as well. WE are scheduled to be there again in 2022 week of July 4th. The staff is great to work with. The place is kept beautifully landscaped and clean. Love the no smoking anywhere rule. No pets allowed so no need to worry about allergic reactions. The condo was clean and loved the tile floors and not any nicnacks to worry with the kids. There was lots of space and sleeping for seven of us. Loved the view of pool and ocean. Hated leaving. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!!
