Appartment is located very close to the beach. Old, characteristic house with nice style and atmosphere, as well as the whole town. Gives a bit of the 'fin de siecle' atmosphere. Facilities were ok, enough material for cooking if you like or prepare a simple breakfast. Nice (soft) bed, even the sofa bed was of very good quality. Rooms can be made competely dark for sleeping. Clean functional bathroom and two toilets + dishwasher, microwave, laundry machine. Equipment was ok, although no (second) garbage bag or laundry powder. Concierges were on time.

Communicating with concierge was a challenge. Prepare to use some translating device. He was very kind and patient though. A cash deposit of 400 Euro feels a bit old fashioned. I had misread the instructions... The house can be noisy. First few days we had quiet neighbours and no problems, last few days it got more annoying with continously talking neighbours who stampeded the stairs. So you have to be Lucky with that, and if it gets too bad just walk for a minute to the calming beach. Parking is challenging, although for free, you sometimes have to circle around town for a while. Many obstacles and cramped Streets. My car got some bumps and scratches and looks more French now. The shower is very small and uncomfortable.
