This is a lovely property. Grounds are gorgeous and the unit itself was very nice & clean. It has everything you need. It was the perfect place to spend a few days before .moving our son in for his senior year. I wish we had discovered this earlier

Cozy villa/loft on a beautiful, quiet cove. Owner had docks, kayaks, bikes, and firepit available at site. We brought lake floats and paddle board. Perfect location for paddle boarding. Loved the 2nd story deck/porch complete with ceiling fans for a relaxing visit.

Headed to lake to relax and unwind. Property was quiet and secluded, yet close enough to bike to boardwalk and a few restaurants. Great time!

Cute group of homes that are very picturesque and cozy. Dock space to bring your own boat was included in rental cost. Buckeye lake was a great place with plenty of places on the lake for food and drinks.

Beautiful view on Buckeye lake and all kinds of outdoor activities provided for you!! We were just there for a quick weekend and it was perfect!

Cute, very well stocked spot. Kayaks, Bikes & great outdoor hang out area mean it's perfect for lakeside living. Owner lives in next door unit and is helpful & polite, not overly present. Very comfortable beds. My only comment is to go with people you're comfortable with - the one bathroom is directly off the main bedroom and sound carries through out the small(er) house, so there's no solid privacy. Wasn't a problem for us!

Lake house
It was a beautiful home. The only thing I would’ve changed is to have 2 entries. There was only one way in one way out and for fire safety there should be another exit since it was multiple floor levels. But other than that it was a beautiful home. My kids really enjoyed the kayaks that came with the property. Would definitely stay again.

Wonderful Stay at Buckeye Lake
My husband, myself and 2 children enjoyed our stay. We were back in the area (from SC) for a family wedding. The cottage was as advertised/shown and the owner lives on the property and was very welcoming and responsive to all messages and needs. We would stay again if we are back in the area.

Great Place! Great Location!
This is a wonderful place to enjoy the lake. Rick has provided bikes to explore the trails and kayaks and a peddle boat to enjoy the water. A big plus is the dock space for your own water craft.

This was our first opportunity to travel in over two years, and it was good to find a quiet, restful place to stay.

Charming cottage on Lake Buckeye
Owner always available for any needs. Quite and serene. Plenty of lake activities available, peddle boat, kayaks, fire pit, bicycles to use for lake pathway and wonderful balcony porches on 2nd floor overlooking the lake and sunset.

When we checked in the owner asked us to move out cars because his "girlfriend would be upset" if she had to park on the side he then came in the rental which was awkward however that was okay but then mentioned a homeless women the night before rummaging through things and that didn'thelp us feel safe. The front door opens to a small bedroom with a uncomfortable double bed and bathroom nicely decorated however tiny. The second floor opens to a tiny kitchen with a living area big enough for a small loveseat and a small wicker chair that's it. The third floor has a small loft bedroom with 2 single beds. The house will not accommodate 4 people comfortably but 2 and there will be no room for any company in addition there is zero privacy and dog poop from the owners dog all over the yard when walking up to the home. (The owner lives next door) One more thing we had the house booked for 5 days however had to leave on day 3 since my granddaughters Grandfather was put on life support and not expected to live I asked if he would consider a refund for one or both days and the owner declined quoting his 30 day cancelation policy. All in all we were extremely disappointed with this BNB. This in no way deters us from booking others since we have traveled all over the US and enjoyed beautiful homes.

The house is perfect for enjoying all that Buckeye Lake has to offer! Beautiful views, porch swing, 2nd floor balcony, bikes, boats, fire pit, gazebo, grill, and waking/biking path to local pub and ice cream shop. Easy to get to from I-70, close to restaurants and a grocery. The house itself is immaculate, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Kitchen has everything we needed and then some. Rick, a former mayor of Buckeye Lake, is a friendly host with interesting stories about the history of the area and personal recommendations for places to go. He lives next door, greeted us on arrival and departure, and is obviously committed to his guests’ complete satisfaction. We’ll be back!

We were looking for a place to stay for my son’s college graduation weekend from Denison. We rented both cottages and had an absolute blast. We used the bikes, the paddle boat, the kayaks and my father was able to fish every morning off the dock. The cottages were perfectly appointed with everything you would need and were very comfortable. We loved everything about the weekend at the property. So happy we found this little piece of heaven. Check out the Buckeye Lake Winery across the lake (found out after our stay that there is a boat taxi that will take you there)! Loved it! Thank you Rick

A little slice of heaven! We had the most wonderful long weekend here! Richard was a wonderful host. Always available, there for a nice chat, but also gave us our privacy. The accommodations are beautiful, super clean, everything is there that you would ever need! We were so very comfortable! He has kayaks on premises to use for free, we fished right there off the docks, we brought our own bikes but he has bikes available. There is a 4 mile bike trail that you can just ride to and a few restaurants in walking distance. We absolutely loved our stay here and are planning to return every year! Sitting on the deck every morning with our coffee eating breakfast watching the boats go by on the lake was picturesque to say the least! We used the grill and made dinner one night. He has absolutely everything you will need…along with his sweet smile can I think of a better place to stay in the area! It was near everything, but it was private like your own little oasis !! We will be back! Thank you Richard for a wonderful time! Trish and Dale!!

Our house was affectionately named the "doll house" by our 7 year old daughter who loved staying in her own tower room, just like Rapunzel. The house has everything you need, was super clean, and the balcony on the second floor and the bench swing on the first floor were perfect for viewing the lake and feeling the breeze. My husband loved grilling in the outdoor gazebo and trying to catch fish off the many docks. We adventured to Hocking Hills state park, a must if you have never been with kid friendly trails as well, and the Columbus Zoo. Both just 50 minutes away from this tranquil house on the lake. There are restaurants and breweries within walking distance and the 5 miles bike/walking path that wraps around the lake it just steps from the property. The owner is friendly and promptly answered any questions we had on the local area. We will definitely be back! Maybe even bring the extended family to stay in the yellow house right next door. :)

So cute!
My family came in the off season and, therefore, we didn't get to enjoy the many amenities offered by the owner in the outdoors. I can only imagine how much fun our week would have been if the weather had cooperated! The house is adorable, the owner attentive and kind, the grounds beautiful. The house was clean with really nice decor. The lake offered a gorgeous scenery and fishing despite the weather!
