Great central location along a quiet street. The loft provided great accommodation for our 3 night stay exploring Cahors. The secure parking (a 10 min walk away) was a real bonus as it meant we didn’t have to worry about our bike- which we were going to leave in The Place du Liberation at the bottom of the road. We were impressed with the staff who both showed us around the apartment but took us to the car park to make sure we understood how to use the various remote controls. Of particular note was phoning us to advise not to drink the tap water following heavy rain as the local authority had issued a warning not to do so.

The floor could have done with a better mop as the apartment was otherwise very clean and tidy.

I very much liked the location and the charme of the very old house. The loft had enough space and was nice and quiet.

No parking directly at the house. This is the price you have to pay for living in an historical place with narrow streets.. ;-)

The location was great! center of Cahors easy walking distance around the town The area is quiet even though you're in the middle of the city.

The location was great however difficult to get to if you don't know the road system, the property is on a one-way street protected by an uprising bollard, we parked in the square near the property and waited for the host's contact. A nice lady however didn't speak any English and we had to use google translate to understand what we were doing. To be fair she did her best. There are 64 stone steps to the top of the building which arrives as a sun terrace according to the host. The sun terrace overlooks the church and roofs which is a nice view. The apartment on face value seemed great however the reality is something else. The apartment has a spiral staircase leading up to a bedroom, on one side was the main bed on the other was a bed settee to access the bed settee room you have to duck under the beams and again in the main bedroom. There are less than two feet from the top of the spiral staircase to the bedroom. There is a roof window in the main bedroom and a set of controls fitted to the wall, no explanation on how to use this but we did get the electric blind to close. The apartment has a bed settee in the main lounge are no sofa or comfy chairs with cushions, when you sat on the bed settee it's not the most comfortable. The host has a lot of good techs just nothing written in English to support understanding i,e the light seems to be on a remote-type switch. The bathroom has a bath and is pleasantly decorated but no grab rails should you slip. The toilet is very small, I'm an 18 stone bloke and it felt like my shoulder was touching the walls on each side. Again lack instructions for the cooker even though Samia showed us how to work it. This is an apartment for 1 person to live in not a holiday let in my oppinion.

This is a centrally located apartment in a historical building from the heart of the old Cahors, near touristic sites, supermarkets and restaurants, which has all the necessary facilities for a short or even longer stay.
