Great location Great apartment, just need a little TLC

No Kitchen Water pressure in the shower is not very good

Needs some serious maintenance. Broken and loose tiles; balcony door couldn’t close or lock (which is a concern as balcony faces the main road); bathroom door lock was broken; taps and shower head loose; no wine or tumbler glasses.

The location was amazing .That was a positive .However the tenants making a noise to set up business early in the morning was not so pleasant

A little microwave would have made a difference if one wanted to warm up a meal but there was not one . Also a gas heater would have been welcome .In load shedding the apartment got really cold and perhaps an electric blanket. The parking for our unit was around the corner and the gate and lock was manual so parking the car and opening and closing was not pleasant.I don’t mind it being around the corner but an automated gate would be better and safer because while I was parking the car a man appeared from nowhere and scared me because he wanted to help and was insistent about .

Very comfortable large room. Location was great for the centre of Franschhoek.

Unfortunately, since our last visit 12 months ago, the traffic on the main street has become very heavy with heavy lorries blasting out heavy diesel fumes such that the air in the Main street is not good. Not the fault of the Studio, but it does impact on the enjoyment, making the balcony pretty unpleasant to use during the day.

Road very busy at night - no emergency light for loadshedding

The location was exceptional! A very comfortable accommodation with enough amenities nearby. The place also had loadshedding-friendly lights so the stay was comfortable at night, even without power.

As the studio is on a main road, it is very noisy very early in the morning. It was impossible to get hold of the host. We had requested a later check out and anplace to leep our luggage for a while while we explored the town. The lady cleaning the studio when we arrived said that she would get the host to call us, and he never did. He also did not respond on the app. We had no means of requesting more clean towels and the shower had bad drainage, causing the bathroom to flood a bit. We had to use our bath towels to dry the floor.

The location

Great studio in heart of Franschoek! Perfect spot as a base to visit the surrounding wine farms and can walk to all the restaurants in the evening from there. Truth coffee operates a stand right outside for the morning brew too...:) The room is large and spacious and very comfortable.

The road can be a bit noisy if busy at night but the bed is comfy!
