Clean and quiet. We arrived late at night and left early in the morning. Easy to find, comfy beds and just what we needed to break up a long drive and to explore a new city. Thank you.

Great stay. Check in and check out we’re super easy. Great, safe location with easy access to Hopedale (fishing) and New Orleans.

Quiet environment, no street noise, great for sleeping, very peaceful. Far more spacious than we’d anticipated.The backyard, garden and patio were a dream. Another Unexpected surprise: the loaded citrus trees! Things that matter to dog people: completely fenced with areas for snooping/exploring, for well-behaved pups. Three rentals share the fenced yard, one attaches to the house which was a surprise, but as long as you are aware it’s ok. The home was comfortable and clean. The beds were comfortable, towels were fluffy and the kitchen was stocked with most everything we needed. The owner Michael was extremely kind and available. He recommended Gerald’s Donuts, open 24 hrs, and minutes from the house. Geralds served a great breakfast and the best donuts. We would absolutely stay in this home again and highly recommend it. You’re near New Orleans yet tucked away in a safe neighborhood. Thank you Michael, we will see you again soon!

We picked this location because it was near to downtown with a quick drive or Uber, but far enough to stay away from the mess of that area. Good food options near by and the neighborhood was quiet. Plenty of room for entertaining. Good size kitchen. Plenty happy for the price.

We all loved this place. The photos don’t do justice to how great this is! It’s a great location. Definitely will be going back to this Verbo. Highly recommended. Nice quiet neighborhood host is easy to get a hold of.

Michael was very prompt with communication. The home met our needs but we were disappointed to have in the same home, another family only separated by a single door. We could hear everything that was said and they came in at 2:59 am and were so noisy it woke us up. The listing is unclear about this arrangement as a possibility, so beware. If you plan on cooking, the kitchen is not well equipped and the oven needed a call to Michael to get it turned on. The drive to the French Quarters is 10-30 minutes depending on traffic and time of day. For the price of a VRBO I would think you could provide soft toilet paper not sand paper.

We had no difficulties with our stay. Very very clean. Mike was easy to communicate with beforehand, and during the stay there was no need to be in touch. Would definitely stay there again. We used the home as a base as we experienced NOLA and its tours. It served our needs well.
