Traveling always broadens your horizon. Getting to know new cities, new landscapes, new people is always a benefit and the most important reason why I travel in the first place. But there are also those special trips that you never forget. As Davide's guest at the Villa Serra B&B in Oristano, I was lucky enough to do just that. Not only was the accommodation spacious and tastefully decorated, with many antiques, beautiful pictures (many of which were taken by Davide's grandfather) and many lovely and harmonious details, not only was the location in the heart of the charming little town central yet quiet, not only did the shady garden invite you to linger, it was above all Davide himself who made this trip unforgettable. His friendly, reserved and yet open manner is captivating. His wide interest in art, literature and music led to many conversations. The word "guest" is often used lavishly in tourism, but here we were truly valued guests. We will be back because there is so much to discover and even more to talk about. A truly unforgettable "holiday within a holiday" for us.

La camera spaziosa e dotata di ogni comfort. Il bagno, pulitissimo e modernamente arredato. Ma, soprattutto, l'ospitalità del Signor Davide. Ci ha reso il soggiorno piacevolissimo grazie alla sua affabilità ed i consigli di ogni tipo: le spiagge, i siti storici ed archeologici, i posti dove mangiare bene e a prezzo adeguato. La colazione poi, consumata in maniera conviviale con gli altri ospiti, è un momento piacevole perché accompagnata dai raccontii, gli aneddoti, gli scambi di idee con Davide, persona colta e piena di interessi, capace di intrattenere conversazioni in ogni campo. Non ultimo, essendo noi carichi di bagagli, ci ha aiutato a portarli in stanza e, soprattutto, a caricarseli fino alla macchina quando siamo andati via. Un'esperienza gradevolissima che ripeteremo sicuramente.

Host molto accogliente e premuroso, ci ha dato ottimi consigli su ristoranti, spiagge e luoghi da visitare e ci ha viziato con colazioni con tanto di dolcetti da forno. Villa di inizio Novecento pregevole e ben arredata in coerenza con lo stile dell'epoca e la storia dell' edificio. Prezzi ottimi.

Nothing at all Everything was amazing

Very authentic apartment in the middle of the city. Davide was a great host and served a wonderful Italian breakfast. Room was super clean and has everything you need. We felt comfortable and would stay there again.

Our stay at Villa Serra was a great experience. The Villa is beautifully renovated by Davide our very attentive and communicative host. The Villa is full of history and situated just outside the old town in walking distance to all restaurants and bars. We would very much recommend staying at Davide‘s place!
