The Chainbridge Hotel

Room on arrival was amazing, point to note a river view is pretty much a thing on both sides of thos hotel as it has a small Canal one side and the amazing river Dee the other. This amazing room however had an adjoining door (Room 40). We could hear every word the woman was saying next door that's not what we were after when we booked a weekend away from the family and kids back home. The staff are amazing and very very efficient both in thos issue and around the hotel and restaurant. We were given a much smaller room that was not upto rhe value of the room or stay we expected however, we got our privacy and had a great stay.

Disappointed we needed to move rooms for the reason mentioned above. The room we stayed in had a damp smell in the entrance hall and was not great in comparison to those in the main hotel.

Breakfast good but we had a dog friendly room which would have been OK if we had a small dog but we have a collie so the room was a bit cramped. We had to go elsewhere to eat dinner , they did worn us that the kitchen wouldn't be serving dinner but still a pain.

Very nostalgic place for me as I used to visit often as a child with my parents. They aren't here anymore but was amazing to be back.

The price of the food at the restaurant was very expensive
