I left soon after arriving, the door was unlocked and key left on table. I did not feel safe.

No one in the office. Pushed a ring door bell someone came from across the highway. Just was told key was in the cabin and that it was unlocked. Didn’t see a sole the whole weekend. We were left to find for ourselves. I cleaned the ac filter it was yucky and it worked better. The mattress was awful. Beds need replaced. We did enjoy the stay. It was within yards of the crater. Not sure if I will stay again.

We did not stay here because the place looked horrible it was scary. People live in TV’s situated next to the cabin. I would have never reserved this property. I want my money back!

Rustic as advertised which was fine. The bathrooms and showers were horrendous and completely unusable.

The property overall was not bad however the bathrooms were awful! First impression of restroom was being smacked in the face with heat and an overwhelming smell of mildew. I chose to drive to a truck stop to shower, there was no way i was using the one onsite. The cabin ac was off on a 90°+ day so it was very hot inside. The floor was detached from the wall of the cabin and clear box tap was used to "seal" cracks. The bed was SUPER squishy so if you like a firm bed at all then look elsewhere. We will not be returning to this property.

Property was as listed in description I used this to have a weekend of fishing just for me and the property was big enough for me. The only thing was the AC unit needed to be a little larger as it was hot but the property cooled down at night

Overall it was a pleasant experience. We never were contacted or approached by anyone who managed the place. The grounds, especially the center pond area, needed mowing bad! Overall for the price it was perfectly fine.

Don't go into this place with glamping in mind. It's a simple campground with lots of peace and quiet. The cats are super friendly! The campground, for the most part, is well kept. Could use some sprucing up. The cabin we stayed in was quaint and did its purpose. The bathroom needs attention but it's clean.

I did not get to stay in cabin 2 someone had already moved in, there were gun shots heard by our group who started there friday night, but did not feel safe, especially with the children there. Our group had to move to another park in the middle of the night. The pictures on line are deceiving, I would like my money back, I do not want to pay for some homeless person staying in my cabin

It is very close to the diamond mine. No tv however...it is pretty cozy to lay your head. Sit on the swing and listening to the animals is so relaxing. The people there are very nice.

We rented the cabin because it is right next to the Crater of Diamonds State Park. Just a small cabin with all you need for a quick Diamond digging excursion. Can’t beat the price. Bed was comfortable and you bring your own bedding. Bathroom and shower facilities were old but clean as was the cabin.

Perfect. Really close to crater of diamonds and just what you need. One suggestion though is to have a little trash can inside.

It was exactly what I expected just a small cabin in a campground absolutely better then sleeping in a tent. And was very close to the diamond mine. People in the town was so nice make for a wonderful experience.

Property is crowded. Camp spaces are close to each other. Cabin is cozy. No frills, like camping with a hard roof. Has fridge, microwave, and heater (and a/c). All work as they should. Bathrooms are kept clean although they are old. Plenty of hot water. Only one folding chair and bed to sit on. Close to diamond mine. I spent four nights with no issues.

I stayed here while visiting Murfreesboro to check out the Crater of Diamonds park. Very simple and quick check-in process, and the cabin itself was very clean with great temperature control. The location is just a few minutes' drive from the Diamonds park, so it was easy to go back and forth when needed. It's a quiet area but also a few minutes away from shopping/eating options. Will be staying here again the next time I go mining.

You can see through floorboards, restroom is ancient, dirty, toilet almost flooded after first flush and nobody came to fix it after I reported it, window sill was full of bug carcass, fridge wasn’t wiped down, front door looks like it was kicked in on inside, other spaces occupied by long term campers and the place looked like a trailer park with lots of junk in the front of each camper. I’m used to camping and roughing it - I’m not high maintenance but I would’ve rather just slept in my truck bed then here. We left the next morning earky checkout and found a suitable place.

The cabin/she'd was filthy inside. Soda can greeted us full of cig butts on table inside. There was a mattress cover on the bed that we removed asap and put outside in garbage. Frig had 3" mold that had to be scraped off in freezer, after seeing inside of microwave we unplugged it and set it outside no way had it ever been cleaned. 3" of dirt under the bed, cobwebs galore.we took apart a/c unit and bleached and used a scrub brush to clean the filth and soaked filter water was black from filter afterwards. Be prepared to wear shower shoes inside showers . After 2 hrs of hard scrubbing we finally settled in. Poor outdoor lighting we tripped over multiple tree stumps at night. Many residents lived there yr round so be prepared to fight them for bathroom time in the only central bath/ toilet on premises. Bob was very helpful and gave us a free day for our troubles ,of which we got charged
for we discovered a week after we returned home. It was supposed to be given for all the cleaning we had to do before being able to step foot into our cabin/she'd. But overall it was cheap enough to get us to come back. Bob couldn't apologize enough for the lousy upkeep of the owner of crater of diamonds campground/cabin rentals. Note: bring plenty of cleaning supplies and be prepared to work at least 2 hours scrubbing.
Overall it beat a tent. Once cleaned the ac unit worked like a charm. I was disappointed the free day wasn't honored for our housecleaning . This place could be nice if they had a competent cleaning person. It was within waking distance to crater. They would benefit from a small store selling ice and necessities. And they already have the closed rock shop to utilize for this very building. It was a bit of a drive to the closest convenience store . It would take little effort on owners part to make this a really nice campground!!

I was excited to check in but when we finally got into our cabin it was filthy! The bed was filthy with stains and dirt. The fridge and micro wave was filthy. It had not been cleaned forever. The fridge had food in it still. The floors were dirty! We left next morning. I knew it was not going to be good when the manager told me " I think its ready for you.". It had chiggers. My boyfriend had bites all over the next morning.

Wasn’t there 30 minutes and some idiot tried breaking into our car. The “room” was dirty. The bathroom has black mold in shower.

Not glitzy, not glamping, straightforward, earthy camping experience. Bed was soft, but bring your own linens. Wifi was spotty. AC was helpful on hot days.

We stay here everytime. Great lil country place. People are nice, the guy that runs the park lets us do our mining thing. Also if the park manager reads this, we tried finding a dumpster for the totes we left but could not so we sat them by the trash can. We left you 2 unopend packs of boudan sausage in the freezer in Cabin 2 for this and hope you enjoy it. Thank you for always providing a great spot to stay while we are mining!

I'd say for what it is, it could be cheaper. I got there so late (I drove overnight,) that I only had a couple of hours to utilize the cabin to change and get my day started.
It was run down, there was a trash bag covering a window instead of a curtain, and packing tape covering a split the full length of the door. And I can live with these things. The one thing that actually freaks me out and leaves me concerned is the power strip that everything in the cabin is plugged in to. One of it's outlets has very clearly had an electrical event and blown out. These are not meant to be used once this happens, because fires can then happen. In the brief time I was there, before I noticed the exploded outlet, I also noticed that if I stepped in a certain spot on the floor it shifted the power strip just slightly and it would turn off until I fiddled with it. So if I'd had food in the fridge and it wasn't 24 degrees outside, it could have been a problem.
But, all in all, it's fine for a quick stop over. Which is what I think it's meant to be...but dang, I'd hate to wake up on fire. Super dangerous.

So thankful to the owner for dropping off the heater/fan tower before the cold weather came through. It works wonderfully. Idk if the little black heater works, and I think the ac unit may need replaced as she was having issues with keeping the room at a regulated temperature. Didn't see the owner at all during the entire stay, was very quiet and relaxing stay. P.S. don't forget to pack a full size bed sheet set, if you do, the general store in town has a few.

This cabin was a converted storage shed. The bed came with only mattress protectors (two were on the bed). Underneath, the mattress was filthy. It was covered in dark stains. There also seemed to be an electrical problem. There was only 1 outlet and everything was connected to it, the mini refrigerator, microwave, and a small heater. Occasionally, the heater would shut off and you could hear a cracking noise coming from the outlet. The smoke alarm also didn’t appear to be working.
