The Ship Inn is always a nice venue to sleep and eat in Rye and a comfortable distance from the railway station.
The price was a little more than previous stays which made me consider staying elsewhere in Rye

Shocked that breakfast does not start till 9.00am, even during week.
Thus had paid for bed and no breakfast.

Warm welcome, lovely room, very clean and comfy bed. The location is so central and excellent value for money.

The room was superficially clean, beverage tray had a good selection, nice soft towels, comfortable bed and a heated towel rail.
Parking is the first problem, could be expensive. A real issue with privacy in the bedroom as no privacy curtains, condensation issues and double glazing needed to reduce noise. A deep clean needed . A weird mix of furniture. Breakfast wasn't served until 9am and then took a long time arriving so not able to get out early if needed.
