Breakfast was great, plenty of choice and did not get boring after a few mornings. Something for everyone from our 2 year old to us. The location is amazing and lakes access beautiful. The resort staff was friendly, helpful and spoke English and Austrian usually.

Rooms were clean, but a bit outdated. Bed was comfortable but not the biggest.

it was perfect

The location is fantastic, right on the lake with an easy access and shallow water. Great for kids too. The garden is beautiful and well maintained. The staff is very polite and helpful, only perhaps a bit confused and lacking a basic knowledge of the hotel and it's surroundings. The most of our questions were answered by "let me ask" or "let me check".

The hotel is getting old and is missing many of the features you would expect from a 4* hotel. There is no 24hrs reception, no room service and the restaurant closes at 4pm. Before that they offer very few food choices and small portions for an elevated price so you have to drive to the closest town every time you want to eat. The rooms have no airconditioning (very unfortunate in the summer) and there is no minibar/fridge. We would like to store a cool bottle of water or milk for the kids but couldn't. The cleaning wasn't perfect either. There was some mold in our bathroom and a very dusty vent. The bed sheets had holes in them. Overall not what you expect for this price. It needs renovation snd improvement or reducing the price and the number of stars.
