Haughton Hall Hotel & Leisure Club

We love it here ! Facilities are what we enjoy to relax ! The bed in the room was the best mattress ive slept on in a long time ! The staff are all absolutely wonderful so helpful and friendly !

Nothing we been here so many times we know what to expect so are happy with what we get here

Spacious and well placed

A little tired. Gardens not very well maintained.

Haughton Hall is in a lovely location. Staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. This was once a beautiful property but is now a bit dated and in need of a refurbishment. We had two rooms in the main house - one was fine - dated but very spacious and comfortable. Our second room unfortunately had a very musty smell and bathroom issues including a dripping shower tap. The leisure pool was very nice but again needs tidying up. Great breakfast in the morning. Overall not a bad stay as prices were reasonable for 2 rooms and staff could not have been more helpful.

Property is very dated and needs a lot of money spent on it

I had to request to move rooms for our second night as we’d had such an awful sleep in the first room. The staff accommodated this and even put our bags in the new room for us which was much appreciated. Both rooms we stayed in were clean, and had water and tea and coffee as well as all bathroom toiletries provided, which was good for the price. We enjoyed the continental breakfast too. Parking was plentiful and free.

The first room we stayed in (in a separate building to the main hotel) was awful. Creaky floorboards, paper-thin walls, broken radiator, broken curtains, a floodlight directly opposite our window that was on all night, flickering bathroom light and squeaky shower. There was a tiny plug-in heater that clicked and buzzed all night. We barely slept with the noise from the neighbouring rooms (TV, conversations, coughing fits, walking around- as early as 5am!)
