Mannings Hotel

Staff were polite.

Room was cold, couldn't regulate the radiator. We went for cooked breakfast which was cold.

Breakfast was good, continental plenty of choice, centre of truro, twenty steps away from hall for cornwall .

Central location in Truro with secure car park.

Disappointing that we couldn't celebrate a successful cathedral event with friends, as last orders were 9:45! Somewhat early for a hotel. There appeared to be no room service options. The staff were very pleasant but some appeared to lack the necessary experience.

The rooms were clean, very comfortable bed. The location is perfect for a show at the hall for Cornwall. Free parking is a bonus.

Short staffed in bar and restaurant one poor girl was absolutely run off her feet, she remained friendly and professional and able to fulfill requests despite her stress, i heard her say she was northern but didnt get her name shes a credit. Quite dated decor, Needs updating and a good deep clean, lots of dust on skirting boards and cobwebs it felt grubby. Bar and restaurant smells like a greasy spoon café, needs better degreasing and ventilation. Breakfast staff not dressed well, looked untidy and were congregated around the bar talking amongst themselves loudly throughout our breakfast we now know every ailment of one member of staff recent illness.
