The entry level rooms are now outdated and far too small for people travelling with suitcases. Yet you are still paying a premium price because of the ‘caldera tax’ - too much, I would say. But we have stayed twice now and thankfully we got a free upgrade both times because the difference in rooms is night and day.

This property was a gem the service was exceptional!! We couldn’t have find a better accommodation in Fira… Thank you so much!

Well kept honeymoon suites, great bar view.

The location. We found Imerovigli to be a better location in general with better options. Also the honeymoon suites vary a lot and ones can get a better and bigger pool which feels unfair. They know that honey served with breakfast, which is served in your own terrace, attracts bees, and many die drowned in it once people finish and leave it unattended, the hotel should provide a little note asking guests to cover the honey or bring it in a jar because it is very distressing to see so many bees dead at the table, especially after we know they are a keystone species that needs to be protected. It seemed they don’t care and I cannot stand hotels which are not environmentally responsible.
