Ideally located for attractions, lovely village and riverside location. Staff very helpful when suggesting places to eat out when restaurant closed. Good team.
Flies on open food at breakfast, no covers to protect open food. Room safe not working. Room needed maintenance i.e. loose bathroom mirror, shower rail loose that holds shower head, loose towel rail. Restaurant not available at weekends, not aware of this when booking. Bed not very comfortable, mattress had seen better days. Not up to British Best Western standards, this is constructive criticism.

The hotel is located in a very picturesque spot ovelooking the river. We were made to feel welcome on arrival. The room was modern and very comfortable with a good shower. Chilled water dispensers on each floor were a nice touch. Following a drink on the terrace we had a very good dinner in the restaurant (perfectly cooked scallops were welcomed). Breakfast next morning offered a good variety of products which were frequently replenished.
We felt that all the staff went out of their way to be helpful.

We had a lovely stay and wish it was longer. The atmosphere, staff, and bedroom were wonderful. We had dinner in the evening, which was extremely good. Service excellent. Breakfast was also good with plenty of choice. Would certainly stay there again. Loved the view, and the bathroom was so well planned.
Nothing not to like.
They were having problems with their WiFi, which was not the staff's fault, but was handled professionally and with a smile on their face.
