The location was perfect, close to the old historic centre, the perfumeries within walking distance, as well as cafés, shops and restaurants.

The hotel could benefit from some upgrading on the exterior.

Location was great. Staff were super helpful.

Very tired. Desperately needs painting.

Location.

The rooms are comfortable, but the communal area is in desperate need of refurbishment. The floors needed mopping, as my white socks turned concrete gray. Noise reduction inside the rooms was effective against outside noise, but internal noise was an issue. There was a lot of activity and loud voices in the late afternoon and evening, which settled down but resumed early in the morning. I am not sure if the noise was coming from hotel guests, a permanent family, a tenant, or perhaps the manager's quarters. There was a food-related smell in the corridors, but it was tolerable. Breakfast was limited and very basic, but sufficient. The facade showed 2 stars, which I think reflected the quality. It was only an overnight stay; I am not sure I could happily stay any longer.
