Skiathos Palace Hotel

My son & I stayed here 20-years-ago & returned, after a wonderful ⛵ing adventure around Skopelos & Allonsius. It is exactly the same as we remembered with the stunning swimming pool overlooking Koukounaris Beach below. Besides the superb view, Dementra is your greatest asset. She speaks with most guests to ensure their happiness. Wow! True hospitality! Also, the stunning view & food quality from your rooftop restaurant was outstanding. And the refreshing large pool. Although the rooms are simple, the architect did an amazing job ensuring balcony privacy for each room - truly an amazing feat.

Having some mobility issues, an elevator to rooms & up to pool/restaurant area would've been helpful. Also, for over 500 guests, I believe there should be washrooms closer to pool & restaurants...but the stunning views are unbeatable.

The rooms were lovely & spacious & well very nice. Both rooms were modern & the one was directly accessed from the pool area. The beach was only a short stroll away. Beach taverna served excellent food.

The food was a little poor, especially the evening meal. Would have been better in hindsight to go to the taverna at the beach 2 mins away as their food was delicious. It was buffet style at the hotel for evening meal as well as breakfast. Some of the staff especially management at the front desk were not helpful at all. It let the hotel down. other staff such as the cleaners went above and beyond& beyond and were very helpful.

The shuttle service from the ports and to the airport, both when we arrived and departed. Also the shuttle into the city. The rooftop dinner was outstanding. The breakfast selection was fantastic. Koukounaires beach was nearby. The pool is very nice to relax in.

Our room was on the 6th floor. In our previous stay we were on the lower floor, and prefer it much better. It was a little far from the city.

I love the views it was so beautiful, the rooftop restaurant was great. The service was very good and so was the food.

Well, for one they have no elevator I think the hotel is old. My room smelled musty the bathrooms need work. I’m sure the room was clean, but it just didn’t feel clean. I probably would never stay there again, but I would definitely go back to the restaurant.
