Big, beautiful territory, walking paths, renovated rooms, nice-looking buildings, nice staff, kids' club that my 2-year-old son loved. There are kids menu, gluten free and diet food options in the restaurant, which was very nice. When the main restaurant is closed, there is another à la carte restaurant that is open even at night. The alcohol selection was great, and the bartenders make various cocktails like Aperol Spritz and Mojito. We didn't participate in the entertainment activities (except the kids' disco), but the selection seemed to be good. Room cleaning was great, which is important when there is sand everywhere. If you are staying longer than 7 nights, you can book a dinner at a themed à la carte restaurant, and we had a great experience there.

Everything went fine in general, but all the small details that make the holiday truly comfortable were missing. I was looking for a hotel in the 8+ category, exceptional, and that doesn't apply to Selectum. We stayed 10 nights, and the food selection was very repetitive. Half of the guests were with small children - babies and toddlers - and yet there were few accommodations for them; step stools in the bathroom or anti-slip mats in the shower were not available. We stayed in the main building, our room faced the main pool, and the noise level during nap hours and between 9 pm and midnight was not appropriate. If you are a light sleeper, ask for a bungalow or a room not facing the pool. The AC in the main building is not adjustable; you can only turn it on or off and adjust the airflow. With the AC being on all the time, the lowest temperature we had in our room was around 25 C (in September), which was too hot for us. There are beach zones with "No smoking" signs, but it is not enforced by the hotel staff, and as a result, people are smoking everywhere, right next to babies and children and children's playgrounds. The restaurant has a big, nice outside area, and again people are smoking everywhere; only a few tables on the farther end from the buffet are marked as non-smoking. That would be fine for a regular hotel, but it was very challenging while staying with a 2-year-old child to prevent him from passive smoking. Public bathrooms almost always smelled like urine. Staff in general seemed well-intentioned but not properly trained or properly supervised. We had a few waiters who never offered drinks to their sections, only collected dirty plates. I also expected a sand beach, which it was, except the shore line covered in small rocks, making it difficult to get in the sea, especially with a small child. My general impression that the hotel was fine but not worth the full price listed as their regular price.

I booked this hotel for a friend, and they were very happy with the stay. The comfort, location, staff, service, and hotel facilities were all excellent. The resort was clean, relaxing, and very suitable for a family holiday.

We really liked the pools, the water park, the restaurants, and the beautiful surroundings. The food was good, and the Ultra All Inclusive service was also at a good standard. The beach was nice as well.

Unfortunately, the service was extremely unpleasant. Many of the foreign staff members did not speak Turkish and did not speak English either. They were not helpful, and many of them looked unhappy and annoyed, as if they were frustrated about having chosen this job. One of the great things about tourism in Turkey is the incredible service and genuinely friendly, smiling staff. Unfortunately, this time we did not experience that level of service from the foreign employees. The service was extremely unpleasant and was by far the biggest disappointment of our stay. This is the main reason why we will not return to this hotel.

The location, facilities

I arrived at 2:00 the room wasn’t ready claiming that the available room is small for us and after one hours they offer me a two bedrooms in the building yet for additional cost!! When i complaint they said you booked through booking (as if it’s not their problem) they said the only available room is this if you didn’t like we don’t have any other option Knowing that with the amount i am paying i could find a better place if i knew that this what i will get!! Since i am coming from a different country with two kids i had to accept the small garden room!
