Hotel Gran Ultonia

The hotel is located just outside, but very close to, the old city, where most of the main attractions and restaurants are located. The rooms are clean, and the overall hotel interior looks modern, new, and cozy. There is a car park in the basement of the hotel, although a parking fee applies. Our room was quiet, and both the mattress and pillows were very comfortable, which made for a good night’s sleep. We also had brunch at Restaurant Cafeteria Ultonia, located on the street level of the hotel. The staff were very friendly, and the food was fresh and tasty at very reasonable prices. It was actually the best breakfast we had during our one-week stay in Spain.

There is a car park in the basement of the hotel, although a parking fee applies. The entrance and turns inside the car park are quite narrow, which is common in many hotels in Spain and France. If you are renting a car, a compact car would be a better and more convenient choice. However, the front desk staff could be warmer and more welcoming.

Location, parking and able to travel with our dog. Breakfast very good for Spain.

It wasn’t so much we didn’t like it but the dining areas were very austere - canteen like. Our bedroom faced directly into a school yard and classrooms so noisier during the day.

Location is excellent. Staff at reception were very helpful.

Some of the lifts did not seem to be working. Rooftop bar service was somewhat slow.
