The room was big and comfortable, the reception staff were very friendly and spoke good English. The stake we had for evening meal was amazing. the location was remote that was ideal after a 500-mile drive we just wanted to relax

Wonderful character hotel in lovely rural location. Close proximity to the beautiful towns of Santillana de Mar, Comillas, and San Vincente de Barquera. Magnificent coastal scenery.

We had a delightful two night stay, the hotel is in a stunning location with a beautiful outlook. We had a family suite with (very generous) terrace which was perfect for our family of four. We made use of the lovely pool. A delicious, typical Spanish breakfast was served on the restaurant terrace. We enjoyed dinner in the hotel on both evenings which was very nice.

upgrade for free, fantastic host, the diner was the best I've ever had (sirloin steak)

WiFi not working (more accurate: WiFi is fine, but internet connection very unreliable). There is a road nearby that is clearly audible (not visible), but traffic is low, esp. at night. So not a big problem. In warm weather an airco would probably be missed.

gorgeous location , nice pool , good food and amazing atmosphere. recommend if you want to escape from city and take some rest near the ocean

Nice and quiet place. Grate pool for kids and adults. Very helpful staff and owner. Rooms very clean and quiet. We didn't try restaurant. Breakfast was simple but very tasty. Good place to come with kids. There is small deer staple and we have seen few days old 'bambi'. Basketball court, ping-pong table and bike rental is available onsite.

nothing from the hotel itself, maybe sometimes you can hear cars from the road nearby (only when outside), otherwise very comfortable stay...
