Villa Nencini

I absolutely loved staying at Vila Nencini - it had such a classic rural italian classic charm. The pool area is absolutely fabulous, the bar stocks cold beers and they make lovely coffee served with croissants. It was just super old school and charming, not trying to put on any modern frills. I would certainly stay here again if I was back in Volterra. I loved the location too, just a short walk into town (less than 5 mins), but just outside the walls so you had spectacular views and plenty of sunshine

Overall great experience, bed a little hard, but that wasnt a big deal

Great facilities (particularly the swimming pool), good sized rooms, a very nice restaurant and above all lovely staff.

Loved the location, the pool, the breakfast and the dinner was fantastic. We stayed in the standard room without air conditioning but it was just fine.

The moquette in the room.
