The house was great. Tge private beach and pool were the best. Location is nice and easy to get to. I would highly recommend and will be booking here again.

Casey Key is a majestic slice of paradise and FJ’s home is magnificent. I am reluctant to emphasize my overwhelming pleasure because I’d like to stay there again and again. It was that special!

We rent every year near the beach but this was the first where the beach was our back yard and we had a bonus with the pool and outdoor shower. Frank was quick to respond with any concerns and gave great advise for places to eat a must try the fish house down the road where the food was excellent. Everything in the house works and there’s plenty of space and sitting areas to spread out. The beds smelled great and were very comfortable. Frank has plenty of towels and even makes sure there is extras of everything. The kitchen has everything you need to make a great meal with a view. The photos can’t relay the beauty of this piece of paradise. We hope to visit again….soon.

Frank is a great host. The house and location are wonderful. Although the weather didn't cooperate with us for half of the trip due to a hurricane in the gulf, we made the best of our stay. The pool and private beach are a plus. The house was fully stocked, so we didn't have to make many trips to the store. Thanks again Frank!

My family and I spent a week at the beach house in Casey Key and had a blast. The host was very nice and made sure we had everything needed for our stay. The location was perfect with the ocean in the backyard. My kids and I had fun swimming all day while my husband fished off the shore. We brought our 2 dogs and they loved swimming and fishing as well. The only complaints were that the AC was not very cool during the hottest part of the day and the beach was small because the decking on the beach was damaged from a previous storm. But my family made do and we had a peaceful, isolated getaway from the pandemic. We will definitely consider coming back again!!

This was a family vacation. We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful location. Loved the short path to beach, pool and that everything was provided that we would need. Beach towels, pool floats, beach items etc. Many yummy restaurants nearby. No traffic, quiet neighborhood, relaxing beach, private backyard with pool and grocery store less than 5 min away. This vacation was much needed & we wished we could have stayed 2 wks instead of 1. If budget allows we hope to vacation at this home or casey key area next year!

Even better than advertised. Privacy meant we saw no one else on our section of the beach, and almost never anyone else down the shoreline. Turtle nests marked next door were a bonus. Kitchen stocked and well-equiped. Manager/owner responsive and charming in person.

This place and the wonderful hosts were amazing!! The pictures don't do it justice and it was everything we hoped for in a relaxing get-away , and more! The host was very accommodating and quick to respond to any inquiries. Upon our arrival we were greeted by fresh flowers, wine, and a tranquil setting on a private beach. The path to the beach is beautifully landscaped. there were so many places to enjoy the outdoors, from the pool, to the deck on the beach, and the hammocks hanging under the deck and looking out at the gulf. The house is open, clean, and well-maintained, with plenty of space to spread out. The kitchen is incredibly well equipped with most everything you need to create your own meals. We were blessed with great weather and lovely sunsets:) It was a true vacation and so peaceful and restful! We are grateful for the time there and only wish it had not passed so quickly! We hope to go back whenever time and budget allow:) Thanks for sharing your lovely slice of paradise!

We’re busy people, so time away is an unusual gift, especially at our lovely vacation home by the sea. The view from every window at the back of the house is nourished of its calming cadence and majestic expanse. Walks on the very private beach that shares its vibrancy with birds fishing, dolphins methodically feeding, and glistening crabs sunning at waters edge, are daily bread. The warm coastline breezes caress the skin turned tawny color and the tongue with saltwater fare, catchable most any day from a backyard cast westward. Our home, luxuriously simple and absent the clutter of stored things, wants nothing in creature comforts from a gourmet kitchen to comfy beds in carpeted sleeping quarters, and a pristine pool. We are pleased so many guests have found our home the respite we too enjoy when returning to it. We've only been here three days so far and it's amazing! The pictures on VRBO do not do this house justice. The home owners have been equally amazing. In the short time we've been here we have managed to pester them a number of times. The quick and very helpful responses are above and beyond the call. The property is more then we had hoped for. Last night we watched the sun set from the deck twenty feet from the ocean, again... amazing! We will, more then likely, post another review when our stay is over.

We could not have found the more perfect location or home. The owners were so accommodating and helpful in every way. The home is beautifully arranged, and well suited for teens and grandparents alike. Thank you for opening your home to us and helping us locate our lost item! We are eager to return next year.

For months now, I have wanted to return to the site to let the owners know how grateful we were to have the opportunity to spend a few days in their lovely home and how kind they were to us. We just spent an incredibly relaxing 10 days in Casey Key. I can't recommend enough how relaxing, peaceful and utterly idyllic this location was for all of us.We were 2 couples, 55+, with our 2 dogs. The home is situated on a very private beach, just a few steps from the house. I can count on 1 hand the number of people we saw walking by us on the beach during our stay. Between the beautiful weather, the wild life and the tranquil surf, we all thought we had died and gone to heaven! The home was immaculately clean and had everything imaginable in the fully-stocked kitchen, for recreation outdoors or some quiet reading in the pool area. The owners have covered it all! If I had 1 small criticism, it would be the beds. When you're older a good night's sleep is a must so sadly, it wasn't always easy to get a restful sleep. The mattresses seemed a little old, especially the 2nd bedroom. Despite that, the owner was a delight to deal with, very gracious and accommodating at all times. Casey Key is exquisite---come visit peace on Earth! You won't regret it!

We were exceptionally fortunate to spend the month of January enjoying the serenity of this extraordinary Casey Key home that’s truly a gem in the way of beachfront properties. The photos of the property do not do justice to the charm and comfort of this home – which offered outstanding views of the beach and spectacular sunsets over the gulf that were enjoyed from the lanai-enclosed pool area and the incredible raised deck located directly on the beach. The property’s setting on the north end of the island was lovely and afforded the charm of “old Florida” without any commercialization. In truth, the setting around the home and the beachfront was so private that we felt as though we were enjoying our own personal oasis. The locale was perfect for long walks along the beach, bike rides along Casey Key Road, kayaking, and just relaxing on the beach deck with a book while enjoying paradise and Mother Nature at her best! The home itself was immaculately clean and exceptionally well appointed (especially the gourmet kitchen) and we wanted for absolutely nothing in the way of kitchen, bath or recreation (pool, bikes, kayak) ‘essentials’ during our month long stay there. The owners of the property are truly special people who display the upmost hospitality and unassuming graciousness – qualities that they manifest from our first contact at booking to long after our departure from Casey Key. A heartfelt 'thanks' goes out to them for allowing us to be guests in their home. All in all - the owners and property provided an unsurpassed and memorable vacation experience.

This place far surpassed all of our expectations! Amenities, condition / cleanliness, accessibility, supplies - all as advertised and more. The home was the perfect solution to our small family reunion, and particularly well-suited for my disabled mother. The rental rate was a bit more than what I was originally looking for - but definitely worth it...great VALUE! The house is located on the desirable north end of Casey Key - private yet easily accessed via the north bridge. The beach is extremely private and great for viewing the passing manatee and dolphin. We highly recommend the Casey Key Beach House, and hope to return in years to come!

My wife, two sons (ages 17 & 19), and I spent a week at this wonderful retreat. It is a very nice Florida style home that is well maintained. The owners made us feel like guests in their home, not like renters. We arrived to fresh flowers, wine, a fully stocked refrigerator, and a welcome note. The grounds are nice with a screened in pool and short pathway directly to the beach right in your own backyard! The beach area has a deck built into the dune. We especially enjoyed lounging on the deck between dips in the placid Gulf. Early mornings and sunsets are a special time on this beach! Wonderful opportunities to reflect on God's creation and blessings. Fishing from the beach in the evening was also fun. Lots of action around sunset. It's a very short walk to the Casey Key Fish House. We had several meals there, all excellent. It is a short drive to Venice FL, and we enjoyed eating at "Made in Italy". Great food and nice people. But you don't need to eat out all the time. There are plenty of markets nearby, and the kitchen at this house is well equipped. If you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway in a beautiful place, I think you will enjoy this home. We are thankful for the time we spent there.

I live in Hawaii and have been staying on Casey Key in various houses and condos since my folks moved to Nokomis 15 years ago. My sisters meet up with me down there often and the consensus this year was this was the best accommodations we have ever enjoyed thus far. It is short walk to The Fish House for afternoon cocktails and some of the best fish in So. FLA. The owners went to great lengths to make us feel welcome-a frig stocked with fruit, juice, eggs and other staples, fresh flowers, complimentary wine, plush towels and bed linens, very clean. Just like a 5 star hotel. The beautiful, open kitchen made cooking a true joy, not to mention the wonderfully stocked spice racks. We grilled every night on the poolside BBQ. We made use of the kayak and bikes and spent most nights just enjoyng a beautiful sunset from our back door. The beach is as beautiful as many a Hawaiian Beach and very private. We spent hours walking it. Our thanks to the owners who were kind enough to share this experience with us. We are looking forward to returning to this incredibly "Idyllic Beach House". The title doesn't do it justice. I would reccommend it to everyone.
