Food. Great view. Direct Beach access. Confortable room and very Clean. Pool service excellent. Restaurants on site very nice. Dont even need to get out of the hotel for nothing.

Price was a little high but cartagena is expensive.

Good facilities for small kids

They didn't clean up the room one of the days, even we asked at reception to do so. We got no towels after coming back from beach and that was pretty annoying. On top of that, cleaning manager call us: first to say room has been clean (doubting our words) then to ask to make up for mistake, but at the end did nothing to compensate. On check out not even a work of excuses.

The location of the hotel, the friendly employees, very organized the towel service in the pools and beach, the buffet breakfast was good,the restaurant on the 10th floor, very good service, gourmet food.

totally disagree that for the category of the hotel the rooms smell moldy, the bathrooms need maintenance on the doors of the rooms as well.

service spa, horrible person at the reception desk no understanding of service, to order a bottle of champagne is a big challenge, to reserve a table at their restaurant Erre is also a big challenge. As a client you need a lot of patience and to accept to waste your time because of the incompetence of the staff. On top of that you pay the price. Not the level of a 5 stars hotel. We stayed there 3 weeks, spend around 10.000,00 EUR plus our friends that we made to come there and when we paid the bill no one asked us how our stay was or a thank you. Absolutely ridiculous and not done. A basket of fruit and a bottle of wine was offered to me and never arrived. Room service can not bring you exactly what you asked, the security guys don’t remember your face and act ridiculous. I felt like I was a convict in a jail, not a customer in a 5 stars hotel. We come every year from Europe to Cartagena. Next year it will be the Sofitel but never again Las Americas.
