It seems that there is a speedway nearby. I noticed this early in the nights but it was tolerable. Not much the motel can do about that

A bed lamp would have been handy, so as not to disturb the other person with the overhead light.

It was a great place to stay especially on a budget. The beds were comfortable the air conditioner was (mercifully - it was 44 degrees outside on Sunday) cold. The tv was a good size and the mini fridge worked and the freezer in it kept the ice cream firm. It was so close to everything that we could walk everywhere to shops to cafes and bars. It's not luxurious but we enjoyed our stay.
Pillows were not great. We need more pillows.

It was pretty dingy and I kept on getting knocks on the door and guys looking for their mate it happened 3 times
The aircon was noisy the room smelt
