The staff were fabulous. The hotel was so quiet comfortable and clean. Lia the owner is so helpful, she really looked after my family and I. The location is perfect… 5 min walk to the harbour where you can get buses taxis and water taxis anywhere on the island. So many fabulous eateries and cafe bars nearby within 1 minute walk. The air con is amazing! We would all stay here again and will. Thank you so much for hosting us Lia & thank you to your fabulous housekeeping staff also, they are incredible. Jill Dance & Family x

Very nice hotel and ideally situated in the middle of town, but very quiet. Host is such a nice person - if you stay here, you will not be disappointed. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Would be good to have tea making facilities in room, but this did not affect our enjoyment of this hotel.

The owner is dedicated to detail.. she forgets , nothing and helps with everything. Lia runs a tight ship. The rooms are quiet and comfortable

Our room was the smallest, but that was our own fault to book the budget room… make sure you book a better room. we will next time . though it was really fine. we loved our stay

The host Lia is amazing! super friendly, welcoming, helpful and responsive at any time of the day! The place is cozy and with a great location in the middle of the village and yet quiet.

This was last minute booking but was so great to get the place. Friendly hosts welcome us and show us around. Good size room for a family of 3 with a proper bed for a child! The location is great, quiet but close to the restaurant and shop area. P.S. check Google before you go, we picked the shortest way but it includes coming up and down the hill. Better go the one that is kind of long but it flat :)

Lia, the host, was very helpful and gave us very useful information. I will come back next summer for sure!

Great stay in Skiathos town, great location close to everything but in a quit place, beautiful hotel, clean , outstanding service and with a simple and tasty breakfast offered by the wonderful owner Lia which really makes the difference. Highly recommended!!

Everything was perfect though the room in which we stayed had a tiny bathroom but quite functional. In the end, that is not an issue, it's normal when you stay in old or historical centre of all the towns.

We had a wonderful time at Hotel Kastro. It was clean, tidy and comfortable. We loved the interior and the decoration, it was a cozy flair. Our host Lia was very nice, helpful and caring. Light breakfast was served which was good and enough. The hotel is close to the main street with all the restaurants and bars and to the harbour. Thank you for the amazing stay!

Kastro hotel was perfect in every way! The location is fantastic and the hotel is a lovely authentic Greek gem. Lia is amazing incredibly helpful and made our holiday perfect, can’t wait to go back.

What’s not to like.

Warm welcome and great host Lia. perfect location just off Papadiamantis St but very quiet and chilled. Lia kindly upgraded us to a bigger room and the rooms are very comfortable and homely. Exceptionally clean thanks to Christina and clean towels every day

Nothing not to lime

Small but cosily place , right on the centre but very quality, good breakfast in the morning with lovely terrace on last floor!

Hotel Kastro was an amazing venue and we definitely recommend it! Right in the heart of the city, it's only a few minute-walk away from restaurants, bars and shops. The room was fully renovated, comfortable and clean with amenities such as mini-fridge, cupboard space, hair-dryer, air-conditioning and fresh towels daily. However, the true gem of the hotel, is the owner Lia. She was an amazing host, and from the get-go she made us feel welcome, safe and right at home. Quick to offer help where needed, she gave us insights to the island life and made our stay there lovely! Thank you for everything and we hope to see you again soon! ❤

Everything is perfect, we liked most the very quiet place although so central and near to the best restaurants and shops! And Lia the best host ever, she helped us to find the best places to go and made our holiday an unforgettable holiday! Simonetta and Luca from Torino

Owner Lia is amasing. Her attitude and readiness to make your stay great is a main plus. Also nice and cosy breakfast available at the main balkony is great.

Room as well as balkony is a bit small and there were no moskito nets so we couldnt open balkony door while sleeping and getbfresh air while sleeping.

Everything was really great! The room was super clean with fresh towels every day. There is coffee and juice every morning with some cakes, croissants, bread and butter - small buffet to give you some energy to kick off the day. The bathroom was small, but very clean and had a window. The balcony had a nice view of the trees in the garden. The hotel manager is very active and ready to help. The location is really central.

I have no complaints. Perhaps I could just make a suggestion to put a bottle of water in a fridge for new guests, since the locals told me that the water in Skiathos town has some mercury and is not good for drinking.
