Renaissance Johor Bahru Hotel

Our suite was a good size. It was clean and housekeeping was prompt when we requested additional bottled water, ice and additional towels. Toiletries were good quality.

In this day and age, it’s unacceptable to not have electrical outlets on both sides of the bed to charge our mobile devices. Also no where to plug in the hairdryer anywhere in the bathroom. No hooks in the bathroom for hanging up our towels. These all need to be rectified asap. We were also unable to have lunch at the cafe on Sat (3 October); we were turned away because there was a conference group. As a guest STAYING at the hotel, it’s unacceptable to be turned away from a food outlet. If we’re unable to use any of the available facilities, we should’ve been told at the time of booking or checking in and be compensated. Instead, the lady at the cafe just told us “sorry cannot eat here because full for conference guests”. Very disappointing!

The hotel room was clean!

Orange juice was watered down and poor breakfast facilities. Room didn’t reflect the pictures
