Excellent location and clean. Great water pressure in the shower and beds were comfortable. Communication with owners was excellent.
Very basic and tired decor and furniture - second bedroom really only suitable for children (no windows and tiny). Access is limited to steep/narrow stairs and a tiny lift.

from the main bedroom you can hear noise from caffès on the late night but interior bedroom was very quiet. that’s only a concern if someone is going to bed early.

Great apartment in a very good location. Walkable to most things and close to public transport. Many nice restaurants on the street below. Self check-in due to late arrival but that went smoothly.
Some street noise due to the restaurants nearby but no worse than you would expect for accommodation in a bustling area.

The pretravel information and communication were very good, also the check-in and -out. The location was excellent, easy to walk and use public transportation all over. The host was super nice!
The kitchenware were quite poor, hard to cook eggs and bacon in the morning. Enough of plates and glasses though. We would have appreciated extra pillows and the woolen blankets felt a bit untidy, but all and all good experience.

The location is very good. It is close to amenities, near bars and restaurants.
The shower is powerful and very good. The Internet signal is strong. The metro station is near by
The elevator is tiny. A lot of times it did not work.
But on the positive side the building has steps and a very hospitable owner

The location, close to restaurants cafes and of course the market. Only a ten minute walk to the Gothic quarter.
Very little. We would have enjoyed an extra pillow each, but there was only one. The kitchen sink plugs do not seal, so doing the dishes was more difficult than it should have been

The location was really good, nice neighborhood except there was a small supermarket downstairs charged us 8.5 euros for two bottles of milk and one ice cream.. Sant Antoni Market was great, And Lidl under the Market was quite convenient too.

Apartment is in a great location, close to everything you'd possibly need, such as market, very good restaurants, bakery, supermarkets, metro stops or bus/aerobus stops. Really enjoyed walking around the area! Check-in & communication with Jan was very easy and hassle-free and the apartment has all the necessary equipment which makes for a very comfortable stay!

Spacious and pretty quiet at night, and the heating worked well
location in an up and coming suburb meant lots of local bars but it was a decent walk, about twenty minutes to the old part of town around the cathedral

First and foremost, the location is exceptional. We used the odd taxi but explored majority of the city on foot with a 12 and 13 Year old, as we enjoy waking and there’s so much to see on the way (Las Ramblas, Gothic Quarter, Barceloneta beach, fountain of magic etc.) We didn’t use any buses or metro’s but these are very close. We booked a taxi via booking.com to and from the airport which was €25. The street and vicinity has plenty of nice places to eat. A little more on the expensive side but you get what you pay for.
The apartment is VERY basic (perhaps more than the photos depict) but the location, small balcony and cleanliness offset this and it was worth the money paid. We sat out at night (January) and enjoyed the street view and the apartment was very warm, even in winter. The double bedroom was spacious and the bed very comfortable. As previous reviews have stated, the second bedroom is a box room with no windows and small beds, so perhaps more suited to children. Some street noise but generally a quieter neighbourhood and it wasn’t bothersome at all. It’s a hop, skip and a jump from a large indoor market as well as Lidl and numerous other supermarkets. TV in living room will need a Firestick or login into your Netflix account as it only has Spanish terrestrial channels.
Lastly, the host is amazing. Very helpful, knowledgable, courteous and nothing was too much trouble. Check in was quick and easy and the communication prior to the stay was second to none.
Overall, if your looking for a good location and can oversee the cosmetic imperfections of this apartment, then don’t hesitate to book.
No extra condiments like tea, coffee, salt, oil etc so you’ll need to buy everything, if needed. No tea towel or disinfectant for cleaning down etc. You get a basic pack of 1 dish cloth, travel- sized washing up liquid and a washing machine tablet. We managed fine having Lidl so close, so not really a criticism but an observation. Again, you get what you pay for but we had such a lovely stay this shouldn’t put you off!

Property centrally located with many dining options. Possible to walk to many sites if you are active.Owner quite hospitable and helpful.
I could nitpick but I'm not going to do that. Apt is worth the value.

A very charming refurbish apartment in buzzy and lively neighbourhood. San Antony market is just a few steps away and great for either snacks or breakfast shopping. The neighbourhood is really nice, clean and gives you a very safe feel (unlike some other touristy parts of the city). Cafes and bars at Eixample are within a few minutes walk, and L2 metro as well. So it is a great location to both explore the city, dine out, party and still be minutes away from home.

The location was very good, the host was very nice person. Apartment was clean. Most of the touristic spots were easily walkable from here. There was a nice breakfast place just below the apartment.
We were 3 people and the 2nd bedroom was very small and there was a light small cot kept in that room. Difficult to sleep on that. Master bedroom was good though. Also the toilet had no door latch, so it was difficult for us to manage. Also the wifi was very slow.
