A remarkable property that feels special to stay in. We loved the many nooks to sit and relax and it was great to have bar service.
I also thought the bed was very good, had a great nights sleep.
Because of the uniqueness of the Abbey it is initially a bit odd having to cross the hall to use your own bathroom, but just accept that you’re in an amazing building and enjoy it!

The character of the building & the historical significance.
On arrival we were shown the room we had booked, knowing the bathroom we detached, but not aware by how much.
We were offered another bedroom with the bathroom attached, we chose the second bedroom at a cost of an extra $40 per night.
The property is going through a rather noisy renovation at the time of our stay, which was rather disappointing.
Had we knew the renovation was happening, we would not have booked for our two night stay.
