Location is great. Excellent history and great Afro Peruvian music and dance show.

Pool safety could be improved as well as speed in their restaurants.

Beautiful property in a quiet location. Very peaceful place to relax. The pool area was nice. Drinks and food was reasonably priced.

The road the hotel is very bumpy! The hotel had a limited food menu with the same offerings for lunch and dinner.

The building and gardens are amazing, and the staff are in general really friendly. It is a perfect place to spend a few days isolated from the world and relaxing. In addition, they have a 1hr guided tour of the property which was amazing, with the guide narrating the history of the place, its owners, the slavery history, etc...

1. Breakfast options are pretty limited and portions small 2. They are not flexible with regards to restaurant sitting [Due to Covid]. You are assigned a designated table when you arrive, and you can't use any other. We asked a couple of times to be relocated to a less windy/noise area but they didn't allow us. 3. Limited areas for food. They force you to have drinks/food on the same area every single time.
