Wonderful breakfast! Tasty, fresh, abundant and filling for the start of a 19,000 step day! REALLY nice that 3 metro stations that take you in all directions are within 3 blocks of HE&A.
Can't think of anything now. All was so pleasant!

Breakfast was nice. Only things that could be improved were: 1. short staffed on one morning so breakfast serving was slow and the waiter did his best but was the only one there. 2. On the first day we ordered from the menu but were not told that one type of juice wasn't included in the express breakfast package so found that was charged fully as an extra charge whereas if we had been told I expect the guest would have chosen a different juice! Also, we were told on one occasion that only 2 or three juices were included (e.g. apple, orange, pear) but in fact a few others were included apart from the one that one of our guests ordered on the first day! We hadn't booked our rooms with breakfast included so the fact that we returned two or three times indicates we were pretty satisfied with their breakfast though. They had quite a comfortable range of indoor seating and big glass windows as well as outside seating.
The hotel room layout was good for us and I really appreciated us being given rooms together which had meant upgrading one of the rooms (I hadn't realised when booking on booking.com that the 'comfort' rooms were in a different building to the king-sized twin bedded room I had also requested (as we booked two rooms for our family)). However, the hotel kindly accommodated me more than I had expected when I asked if my son could be moved to a room in the same building so we could meet up more easily and upgraded him to a superior gentlemen's room so he could be right next door to us at no extra cost. This worked very well for us as my daughter was able to pop next door to see her brother and it was easy for us all to communicate and meet up.
I liked that we had a choice of reasonably-priced restaurants and little boutique shops nearby too (e.g.
I mentioned a few things above but they were relatively minor. One other thing that could have been better was that the cleaning of the room was forgotten on one day, even though we had seen the cleaner on our floor as we left that morning. I had to therefore go downstairs and ask for it to be cleaned after we had returned for the day. The receptionist organised this quickly however. It just meant leaving the room again for a while. The cleaner didn't ask me to leave but it felt a bit awkward to stay there whilst she was cleaning and I think she would have appreciated being left to do it without us there!
It is a little close to some slightly more run-down-looking areas (only if you head in one direction though) but we did not feel unsafe and it was quite easy to chose the more 'scenic' routes most of the time! Overall, for the price and location it was not surprising that it wasn't surrounded in all directions but the most affluent bits of Paris. Also, when we headed to the slightly less affluent parts (e.g. to get the metro) it was fine and I wasn't worried.

The hotel had a convenient location
very expensive for a pretty basic room with not very confortable bed. Hard to control the temperature of the room
