Beautiful house, well-appointed. Close to grocery store and all the places you'd want to walk to. Even though it is in the center, there were no problems with noise. A lenten procession passed right past the front door! The keypad on the door made getting in and out easy.

Lovely property, stayed for Semana Santa. Very good location, close to everything. Fully equipped.

Lack of communication with the landlord prior to our stay. We sent emails through the VRBO website with no response other than the initial confirmation and finally the address (after several requests). We sent our fight information and time of arrival long before our stay. (The listing said check in at 4:00 PM. )Again with no response. On the way to the house from the airport at 2:00 PM we received an email from the landlord saying she was canceling the reservation since we were not there yet . We panicked. We were able to call her and she let us in the house after a long conversation. We arrived at 3:45PM. One of the showers didn’t work. The shower head and handle were missing, we didn’t have enough towels, no paper towels and about a quarter of a roll of toilet paper per bathroom. There were no instructions in the house and no way to dispose of garbage. We were only given one key for 3 couples. We could not find a place to get another key made. One couple had a mother die and had to fly back early. One of us had to forfeit a tour/cost of the tour since we couldn’t lock the door on the outside without a key. So he stayed with the bereaved couple until they could make travel arrangements and leave. We have used VRBO, and other similar websites several times a year over the years and have never had this type of situation before.
