Secret Garden Sky

Short walk to yoga Barn, quiet side street, close to restaurants etc. Putu and her staff were great and really looked after me.

Whilst I did not feel like using the pool this time, it was closed with minimal warning for repairs. Other visitors were less impressed and I could understand why. Not a common occurrence I’m sure.

The staff were very friendly and helped with various questions. Hot water on tap to make tea and flexible breakfast hours. Putu and her crew are a great team.

Internet in the room I was staying in was very positionally dependent. Moving 1 metre meant the difference between unusable vs no problems. There were smokers next door and the smell drifted into my room.

I was amazed to enter the yard of Secret Garden Sky, I thought I came to a temple. The yard consisted many small houses and nice green pool area with statues, plants and trees. Everything was clean and tidy. Owner lady Putu shared the good tips and arranged a lady to give a massage in my room. That was very convenient, since you didn't have to go anywhere. This accommodation is located in a small road, so it was quiet but still 5 min walking distance to the bigger road with restaurants, supermarkets, ATMs and pharmacy. It is only few hundred meters from the Sacred Monkey Forest, easy to walk there. The staff organized the breakfast a bit earlier on those days, when I was going a whole day tour. When I next time come to Ubud, I definitely will come here again.

Good location and peaceful place

First time they gave me a room that should not be given to any one, The wall paint is peeling and there is dampness; the room is full of ants, there is a gecko, and the smell is unpleasant. Then when i submitted a complain to cancel they gave me a good room, so they should do that from the beginning also the swimming pool not available for use.
