Nothing, everything was excellent

Innkeeper was very friendly, welcoming and flexible, we enjoyed her fun personality and knowledge of the area. The location is convenient to downtown and college. We slept well in the comfortable bed.
The bathroom needed attention, toilet wasn't clean and walls could use a wipe-down.

Centrally located and within walking distance of places to eat and shop
Parking spaces are a bit of a tight squeeze into the alley but not enough to keep me from returning

The host was great. We rented the Fannie Bueler Room and it was perfect. I did not expect it to be as big as it was and it worked very well for us. The location was also as good as it gets.
Nothing. I liked everything

The host was very friendly. She also provided a delicious breakfast for us while we were there.
The bed could have been more comfortable. And the creepy picture above the bed in our room could be swapped out.

This is a beautiful B&B in the heart of Gettysburg. Everything is in walkable distance. We stayed in the Elizabeth Thorn room, which is just absolutely gorgeous, and faces Baltimore street. Our host was wonderful. We enjoyed conversing with him. He's a wealth of knowledge, and he made sure that we were very comfortable during our stay. We have visited Gettysburg for the past 4 years in a row, and our stay at the Tille Pierce has been our best one yet. We can't wait to come back!
Not a complaint, I didn't have an issue. This is just a heads up if you're a light sleeper, you may want to pack ear plugs. It's a pre civil war home, so the floors creak, and the walls are a little thin.

Personalet var veldig imøtekommende og hyggelig.
Det var rent og ordentlig.
Og huset var koselig som bare det ..
Beliggenhet er midt i byen og kort vei til alt

The location and age of the property
It could have been cleaner, there was dust on the mirror and hair from someone else attached to the towels. Better lighting would be good in the bedrooms, it just feels like it needs a really good deep clean. I got bitten in the bedroom during the night.

Everything. This is our favorite place to stay when we are in town. We love Gail and Bob and we love the house.
Nothing. We love this place.

Very close to everything! Most within walking distance! Loved the history!!
Parking was tight, however, it’s an old city. The streets were made for horses, not suvs.

the inn Keeper was so nice, he even dressed up in Civil War period attire for us one day. He was very knowledgeable about the history of the area.

What did I like? Absolutely everything (I mean, one of the other patrons was a bit ... odd, but you can't control that). The staff was amazing, it was a beautiful property, very central so you could walk to most of the shops in the area, the staff actually cooked us breakfast in the morning and cleaned out dishes. I also booked this hotel because of its paranormal reputation. I had originally booked one of the smaller rooms but to my astonishment, I was upgraded to the famous (or infamous) blue room, the most haunted room in the building. The staff have me a history for and I did an investigation that night where I communicated with the spirits of Tillie Pierce, her mother, and binx, the resident ghost cat (I had two experiences with him, both very welcoming and loving). Whenever I go to gettysburg, I will be staying at the Tillie Pierce house (though I would also like to experience cashtown inn at least once)
I was only there for one day. Also, the floors in my room were very noisy; but the floors are original to the house so they add a great touch and charm to it, so the creaking didn't really bother me (I loved the character of the flood and actually liked the creaking, just know that the floors in the blue room are louder than anywhere else)

The room was a bit cold inside, although the heater worked well to heat it up

This quaint bed-and-breakfast is ideally situated in historic, downtown Gettysburg, near many sites and events. It is also the perfect location if you are visiting Gettysburg College. If you are vegan, vegetarian or need gluten-free food, this is the perfect place! We are vegetarian, and the host made us the most phenomenal breakfast.

Wow. I did not realize that the home, built in 1829, was in the thick of the Gettysburg battle on July 1. Our room was comfortable and cozy. The history of the structure was amazing.

What’s not to LOVE about the Tilley Pierce House Inn? It’s a beautiful historic civil war home that is now an amazing hospitality inn. It’s actually designated an official Civil War House - complete with its own cornerstone plaque.
Our 2nd floor room was beautifully decorated and our bed, really comfortable! All of the Inn’s accommodations and amenities are well thought out and very homey - up to and including the cat toys left out on the 2nd floor for Binx - the ghost cat who is rumored to roam the halls of the Tilley Pierce.
Finally, location - location - location! The inn sits directly on Baltimore Ave., minutes from everything you want to see when visiting Gettysburg.
It’s a comfortable inn that is now our go to whenever we visit Gettysburg! Excellent value. Wonderful staff!
Actually, we enjoyed every part of our stay there.

I had an excellent stay here and the host was extremely nice!
I actually booked this not realizing the place had some historical importance. I didn't really find much within the house that summarized the history of it.

Beautiful house.
The floors were not as clean as they need to be. The house should be treated as the precious jewel it is. No place to put dirty dishes when staff is not around. A more ecological coffee maker would be better.

Everything was exceptional during our stay. Bob the inn keeper was very friendly and knowledgeable and made us feel at home.
The only change would be to put a t.v. in each guest room

I was gone before breakfast boyj mornings. I'm sure it was good at least based on comments left in a diary in my room. If I stay again I'd like to take advantage of it.

Breakfast was good - scrambled eggs, bacon, bagels, fruit, assorted pastries, juices, teas, and coffee. I can't say enough about how fabulous our host was - he was extremely welcoming, informative, and a pleasure to chat with while showing us around the home and during breakfast the next morning.
No paranormal activity...but maybe for the best!
