Perfect location for the wedding we were attending at Low Hall. The room was so spacious which was perfect as we had our 1 year old with us. Really great value for money too; two rooms, living area and large bathroom. Breakfast was delicious and the host a delight. Wouldn't hesitate to return if we are ever in the area again.

Absolutely everything about Graysonside was exceptional. The room was lovely, spotlessly clean and the bed was just so comfortable! Breakfast was delicious and beautifully cooked and presented. Oliver our waiter was awesome, polite, attentive , friendly, but not intrusive. Janette, our hostess was so kind, considerate, knowledgeable about the local facilities, warm and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. We would highly recommend Graysonside and are looking forward to our next opportunity to revisit.

Spacious, well furnished and comfortable. Very convenient for the lovely market town of Cockermouth as well as the western side of the lakes. Janette is a great host and provided loads of useful information about the area. Gluten-free well catered for. Loads of safe, off-road parking.

It wasn’t a problem for us but traffic noise from the A66 nearby might be problematic for some.

Great location run by the very best of proprietors we have ever met. Jeanette could not be more friendly & helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The Garden Studio was a upgrade to our original booking & it was superb in every way. The breakfast was something we looked forward to each day with the service & quality of the food being spot on.

The friendly owners took excellent care of us, answering all our questions and giving us tips about the area. They went the extra mile for a birthday. The grounds were lovely, with different seating areas to catch the morning and evening sun: we enjoyed serenading the sheep with our music practice. The breakfast was delicious.

We were a bit confused about some aspects of the breakfast system, but no worries, we soon got the hang of it.

The breakfast was amazing. We had a list to select our breakfast for each morning and as we got down there were cereal and pastries that we could also have as well as what we had ordered. The food was fresh and drinks to accompany were just spot on. Location. We stayed as we were attending a wedding not far away on the lake. It was roughly 10minutes drive to and from and the next day they offered to drive us to collect our car which was amazing as we didn't have to pay for another taxi to collect our car from the venue. Staff. The staff were lovely, warm greeting when we got there even though it was past 9 at night, amazing service from all during the day. Comfort. Normally i can't sleep in a strange place but as soon as i hit the pillow i was out like a light, the bed pillows were soo comfy. In all, me and my partner said if we were ever up that area for something else we would definitely check to see if there were any rooms left and stay again.

Beautiful location, walking distance (if energetic) of Cockermouth. Helpful staff. Residence and garden top quality. Outstanding. Unbeatable value for money.

Fabulous place - absolutely lovely people who are welcoming, friendly & happy to do anything to make their guest's stay special. Views everything you could hope for in a Lake District stay. The room was spacious, tastefully decorated, super comfortable, immaculately clean with many very thoughtful touches such as local produce & White Co mpany toiletries. They also very much deserve the award tbey have won for their breakfasts & the lovely young women who looked after everyone at breakfast deserves an award of her own. Relaxing, unpretentious & like being wrapped up in a big cosy blanket.

Hand on heart, dislike & this place do not belong together in the same sentence.

Just perfect. Modern, contemporary design, pristine cleanliness. Welcome pack including flowers, Prosecco, tea, coffee, milk etc. Appliances for cooking. Host was friendly and caring.
