The presentation and selection for breakfast was excellent - as was the venue and view

This was our 2nd time staying at Karalis and it did not disappoint. The property offers amazing sea and town views from the room/balcony and breakfast lounge and we loved our large, clean, comfortable and attractive room with spacious, modern shower. The staff were again warm and welcoming and very helpful if we had any questions or requests. The location is perfect: Right next to the fortress, within easy walking distance of several beaches/swimming spots and excellent restaurants, and easy drive to Voidkilla Beach (do not miss it!) and two other beautiful towns with castles/forts. Breakfasts were amazingly good and filling with a nice range of items in the buffet, excellent coffee/espresso and eggs/other items on request, with perfect friendly service from Spiros and the other wonderful young lady who’s name we shamefully have forgotten. There are also sun beds and a swimming spot at the property which were perfect for relaxing and/or a quick plunge to cool off.

Only that we had to leave one of our favorite properties and villages/towns in Greece.

Excellent location. Very clean. Amazing breakfast made to order. Nothing was too much trouble for staff. They were very accommodating. Highly recommend the hotel

You might at first glance think this hotel is dated...wait 24 hours - once you sit on your balcony literally overlooking the Ionian Sea , step off the ladder into the Ionian Sea, not have to fight for a front row beach chair /cabana, have a delicious omlette and extensive breakfast made by the chef on your rooftop balcony overlooking the vast view of the Ionian Sea , have a late afternoon drink at the "pool"bar on the top level of the hotel and glaze out at the expansive water view - you will forget about any small problems you might see with the hotel upon first glance ..a short wander into Pylos presents you with multiple restaurant choices. 4 amazing golf courses within a very short drive ...if you book for a week you will be wishing you booked for two!

In a fantastic location by the sea at the end of the Pylos village, this small hotel is one of the best places to stay in the Peloponnese. You have the impression you are in the water. Very nice and helpful staff, excellent breakfast on the top floor with stunning view. the beach on the rocks is also just great. A must!!

For such a beautiful and luxury place there are too many decoration mistakes that can almost spoil it. To mention a few, aluminium paper wrapped flower pots, plastic chairs and tables of the breakfast area, including the swing and a cheap version of a small carriage with a sign ‘flower garden’, are really a faux pas.

Wonderful breakfast and very hospitable staff. Incredible view of the sea and shore just next to the hotel. We appreciated the water cooker and mini-fridge.

Access to the location is a little difficult.

Everything was exceptional at the Karalis Beach. Setting was quite superb - the hotel is on a wonderful rocky outcrop on the edge of the town nestling under the old fort. The staff were wonderful, so professional, helpful and friendly. We had one of the junior suites (Room 301) and it was so worth it - spacious, fantastic balcony (with great furniture) and exceptional views from the top floor. Bed was very comfy too. Breakfast was fantastic and the breakfast room is so well equipped and tastefully furnished. Spiros and the other waiting staff were so attentive. We would thoroughly recommend the Karalis for a holiday and without doubt make sure you book a sea view room as the views and sunsets are exceptional. Final mention to Bella the dog who was always available for a treat or two. Will most definitely return.
