Lovely size of room (Ella) the tasteful furniture. Comfortable bed. Nice and warm. Also as two musicians, it was fun to be staying in a piano shop (even if we aren't pianists).

The dream hotel. A charming elegant and classy place with a view of the cathedral of Ghent. Fantastic location, spacious room, in wood, tastefully decorated and full of charm. The bathroom has a spacious shower and equipped with every comfort. On the ground floor a piano shop that takes you back in time.

It was perfect

Unique boutique bed and breakfast tucked away near the cathedral and the canal above an impressive and quiet piano showroom. Clean and well decorated room - bedroom somehow smaller than shower but with a view of the cathedral spire and all rooms named after female singers. We did not have breakfast although it was available but the place was quiet and atmospheric. Two disappointments - the tv did no0t work very well, only two channels which then scrambled when I tried to adjust and a king side bed with two single duvets on it...not ideal. Recommended however and great to be in a charming location near the old town but on a quiet backstreet.

The room was very modern and had a lovely big shower cubicle and sink.

There was nothing we did not like.

Quirky setting, full of character and the location

Room felt a bit stuffy, and noisy at night with windows open. Some people outside (couldn’t work out where!) were shouting and hollering all night until 5.30am! Not the hotels fault but it did dampen our stay.

Everything was perfect, beautiful building, large comfortable bedroom with the added benefit of a shared kitchen with washing machine, friendly and helpful staff. Walkable to all the main tourist areas and near the tram stops for the station. Would definitely stay here again when visiting beautiful Ghent!

Nothing to dislike here but keep in mind the four flights of stairs if you have mobility issues.

It had charm and was unusual as located above a piano shop. The complimentary tea/coffee was well done with a shared fridge etc

Our room, Billie, was very noisy as it was above a main street and people were shouting and drinking late in the night. Neither of us got a good night's sleep. We were also not able to access WiFi as the code provided didn't work. I did contact the owners but didn't get a reply

Ideally located, just a stone's throw away from the city centre. Beautiful building with a very special musical atmosphere downstairs. Good Breakfast.

We paid the price of a luxury hotel room for what felt like a hostel stay. There was no one to be seen at the reception at any time. When we arrived (after check in time) the room was not ready and once it had been cleaned, it was still not really clean. The description advertises a king-size bed where you get uncomfortable twins. Our room was directly adjacent to a small kitchen area, which means people chat and prepare tea or coffee right in front of your door! The laundry room was also right behind our bathroom so we could hear the washing machines spinning in the afternoon. Sound insulation is really bad, you even feel the ground and windows shaking when a bus passes by. We were woken at least 5 times on Saturday night by people yelling in the street. And last but not least, the TV screen was broken. When we reported it we were told it had been for a couple of weeks and it didn't seem to bother the owners. In conclusion we thought we were treating ourselves to a nice hotel stay and ended up paying a very high price for a noisy, uncomfortable hostel stay. Next time I will definitely spend my money elsewhere!

very nice b&b, small hotel above a piano store, welcoming and friendly owners and staff, lovely decorated, clean, quiet, well equipped and located, even a small quiet courtyard, made my stay in ghent very special.
