This view was AMAZING and so worth the money to wake up to each morning. Being on the top floor we watched the sunset from the balcony each night or watched the rain storms roll through. I was nervous because it has no AC but we stayed here the last week of May and were always comfortable. The winds came through each evening and it was perfect. The grounds were beautiful and in walking distance to Hideaway Beach (it is a steep walk with ropes down a dirt path) where we snorkeled everyday. Short drive into Hanalei. Would highly recommend staying here.

We have stayed at many other units at Pali Ke Kua. The view cannot be beat. Unfortunately, the unit that we chose this year was a little disappointing. The unit is in need a remodel and a minimum, a deep clean. The kitchen was old and dated and all the cabinets were sticky with dinge. The floors were dirty and our bare feet turned brown from the floors in the first hour. The glass table tops on the three tables were streaky and gross. Overall, even with the cross breeze, the unit had an off putting smell. Half of the shower door in the master bathroom was missing. Boogie boards and beach chairs were a plus. No fans at the units, but when we called Oceanfront, they delivered two nice fans the next day.
