One bathroom doorknob was missing; two other doorknobs were loose and one came off completely. Front door code worked first time, but did not work all the time later; property manager tried to help by phone. then front door handle came off. All the above were fixed correctly by helpful Roger in maintenance, but should not have been in bad repair when we arrived. House was clean and the rooms were perfect for our family of 12. Gave 5 stars above for everything except 'overall' rating was reduced for doorknob/front door issues. Thank you!

The property was nice and accommodated us nicely. However, upon checking in there was a very loud noise coming from the water pipes in the hot water heater room. It could be heard throughout the entire house. We called the property management team and they told us they would get back to us, but never did. That night nobody got much sleep because of this noise. The next morning we contacted the propery management again and they assured us someone would come to look at it. Nobody ever did. So for the two nights we were there, we did not get much sleep.

Do NOT rent this property! They pushed our check in time back an hour saying the cleaners were delayed due to bad weather. Understandable except the place wasn't cleaned! There were a bunch of little seeds or beans in the floors in the bedrooms & when we got into bed the first night they were IN the bed. Disgusting! Whether it was from animal, a prank from the last tenants who knows but showed the bed sheets hadn't been changed! Gross! No extra linens so had to put towels on the sheets for the night & then wash ALL the sheets the next day. Not our job! They were inside the spare toilet paper roll in the main half bath. Creepy! The thermostats weren't working. We called the property management company- got a recording. Left a message with no call back. Instantly wrote to them. Went to the store the next day to buy batteries for the thermostats & lots of firewood- again, not our responsibility but had to have heat. Called again and was told someone would come out because 3 of them still didn't work and it was snowing and cold. No one came. Called again, no answer. Called the next day and they said they'd send someone. NEVER did! there were also dirty used towels hanging in the master bath, no soap or extra towels anywhere. Each bath tub had 2-3 spiders in them. If the cleaners had "just left", delaying our check in, all those spiders could not have appeared that quickly. Only dish soap was a half empty 3 inch mini bottle, Absolutely the worst rental EVER-WORST communication

The house was plenty big but upon our arrival they said they were five fans there were but only two of them worked it took one more day to get the other fans with very warm weather going on. I don’t think that the property is checked out totally for guests as we had a toilet leak the first day we were there. there were floaty’s in the garage to be used for the lake but all three of them had holes were not usable. There were also two chairs for the beach and one was broken. Also the furniture inside was dirty. We managed for the five days but I would never book this property again.

We found everything to be equal or better than described in the VRBO website. We were a group of 11 and stayed and slept comfortably the two short days we stayed. All features and appliances were in excellent shape. We loved the open kitchen and large dinning table which accommodated our large group. We would definitely return in the future and recommend this property to any group of ten or more.

Short but enjoyable escape
We found everything to be equal or better than described in the VRBO website. We were a group of 11 and stayed and slept comfortably the two short days we stayed. All features and appliances were in excellent shape. We loved the open kitchen and large dinning table which accommodated our large group. We would definitely return in the future and recommend this property to any group of ten or more.

This house was perfect for our family. Each of our three teenagers brought a friend but the house is so spread out everyone felt like they had privacy. The house consist of three floors with the great room on the entry level and another family/game room on the bottom level. In addition, the house has multiple decks affording even more privacy. We would definitely rent this house again! The house was clean, very comfortable and a great location.
The only issue we had was with communication with the property management company. They were very difficult to work with, unresponsive and unhelpful.

Terrific House for large group
This house was perfect for our family. Each of our three teenagers brought a friend but the house is so spread out everyone felt like they had privacy. However, for the amount of money we paid per night, we expected some minor amenities! Hot water in the master bath would’ve been nice! We had to shower in the guest bathroom down the hall. There were no towels in most of the bathrooms either, the towels in the dryer we’re full of some kind of gunk that rendered them unusable. And the carpet was so stained with pet urine, that I refused to walk around without shoes on. And I am a dog mom, and my dog was with, and this still grossed me out. One last thing, if I can be completely honest, most of the kitchen items I brought out to use, had to be washed because they were not clean. Like greasy spatulas and dirty spoons. Therefore my recommendation is stay here with an expectation of a large house, nice neighborhood, but a motel 6 vibe. I’m rarely this harsh, but feel it’s my duty to give a fair and very honest rating if I’m going to be asked to. Safe travels friends.

Not what we expected
Our initial impression of the home was amazing. The location is great, the neighborhood is great, and the size of the home is what we expected. However, for the amount of money we paid per night, we expected some minor amenities! Hot water in the master bath would’ve been nice! We had to shower in the guest bathroom down the hall. The house was great - spacious and spread out - everyone got their own room and bathroom on 3 levels, really large and well-equipped kitchen, big comfortable great room, and we had dinner on the deck every night (big enough for our party of 7-8 but wouldn’t accommodate more). The house needed a few minor fixes while we were here but the property manager was very responsive and Jagger cheerfully came the same day to take care of things. We met a lot of nice neighbors on our walks, beach was close by and Dollar Point made it easy to pick up guest passes. Close to great biking trail system too. We’d gladly stay here again - thank you to the homeowners!

We had a lovely time in Lake Tahoe these past two weeks. The house was great - spacious and spread out - everyone got their own room and bathroom on 3 levels, really large and well-equipped kitchen, big comfortable great room, and we had dinner on the deck every night (big enough for our party of 7-8 but wouldn’t accommodate more). The house needed a few minor fixes while we were here but the property manager was very responsive and Jagger cheerfully came the same day to take care of things. We met a lot of nice neighbors on our walks, beach was close by and Dollar Point made it easy to pick up guest passes. Close to great biking trail system too. We’d gladly stay here again - thank you to the homeowners!

Small things were the only issues we had. Burned out light bulbs but we found a stash and replaced many. There were no replacements for a halogen lamp in our bedroom or for several night lights. And the kitchen faucet was nearing the end of it's life. The kitchen area powder room sink faucet was also dripping. Those are all small in my opinion. But the kitchen faucet was starting to bother me. Probably because it gets a lot of use. But overall we had a wonderful time at this home! It's very nice.

We had 14 guests total and were pleasantly surprised by an extra Murphy bed in the pool room which made the sleeping arrangements even better. close to the lake and to Tahoe city. Great view of the lake. Easy, worry-free accommodations, check-in and check-out. Would rent it again is a second if our family ever returns to the area.

We rented this home at the last minute when our home rental in Yosemite was cancelled due to a wildfire. We had 14 guests total and were pleasantly surprised by an extra Murphy bed in the pool room which made the sleeping arrangements even better. close to the lake and to Tahoe city. Great view of the lake. Easy, worry-free accommodations, check-in and check-out. Would rent it again is a second if our family ever returns to the area.

Pictures don’t do this place justice. We had an incredible stay from the moment we walked in. It’s beautiful and I was not expecting such great views of the lake. The kitchen is very large and wonderful for entertaining. We spent most our time cooking and gathering around the kitchen, soaking in the sun and views from the top deck and playing pool. Oh and the walk to the pier is nice too. I would definitely return.

What a great place with wonderful views
Pictures don’t do this place justice. We had an incredible stay from the moment we walked in. It’s beautiful and I was not expecting such great views of the lake. The kitchen is very large and wonderful for entertaining. We spent most our time cooking and gathering around the kitchen, soaking in the sun and views from the top deck and playing pool. Oh and the walk to the pier is nice too. I would definitely return.

Great layout and location!
Great layout for young and old alike. BR/BR layouts very generous and kept up. The location to Reno great with nearness to Tahoe City, Squaw Valley, and Truckee. HOA beach was very nice and kept the kids occupied. Views of the Lake were awesome until we saw a funnel cloud!
Did not use the kitchen much, since so many restaurants were nearby. All in all, a great place for a quiet family reunion!

Great house but some updates and maintenance could go a long way.
We were there during Labor Day Weekend with a group of 16 celebrating my dads 80 th birthday and we had ages 9-80. The house offered plenty of space and very comfortable beds. The kids all enjoyed the bunk room even though it was a bit tight in space. We loved the lake view off the kitchen deck and being able to walk down the hill to the beach. It was super close to Tahoe City where we had lunch and shopped for groceries. We were there during a super hot weekend in the 90's and there needs to be more fans for the bedrooms as well as living areas because it was sooo hot. The fridge didn't work and we ended up having to move our food all to the garage fridge and buy ice and coolers for our drinks to keep cold; because of the holiday no one was available to fix the fridge until we left on Monday so that was very inconvenient. The manager was very responsive however and they did allow us to check in a bit earlier than the scheduled time. We did enjoy our time there and thought it was a good value.

Family Reunion at Dollar Point
Dollar Point is a great place for a large gathering of family and, or friends. Beach, tennis courts and pool all very nice. The house was very nice, large kitchen and common areas. The only real draw back to the house is the outside decks are small especially for a house that will accommodate/sleep 14. Management could pay a bit more attention to details. We arrived with a half empty propane tank for the BBQ and an empty backup tank. Overall the house is nice and provides a great location (walking distance to beach and tennis courts).

Perfect for Our Fourteen
First, the house was clean and ready upon our arrival. This home is two blocks from the HOA's beach and four blocks from the HOA's pool and tennis court. HOA access is included in the rental. The house was perfect for our 14 adults ranging from age 20-89. Although the eldest still had to maneuver up and down one flight of stairs from kitchen/dining/living room to their bedrooms, it wasn't unbearable. About 2-3 steps from parking area to front door, then 1/2 flight up to main level. Views to south are incredible. The house was clean and as advertised although now a bit dated (think cabinetry in kitchen and carpeting in bathroom and around toilets). Internet was more than adequate. A second refrigerator/freezer were in the garage, and needed. The many balconies provided private outdoor space for conversations. A larger balcony off dining/living room provided perfect space for cocktail time. There's so much to do from this Dollar Point location -- bike rental in Tahoe City, kayaking on the lake, hiking galore, even water aerobics at the HOA's pool. The damage/cleaning deposit was returned in a timely manner. Truly, it was perfect for our fourteen.

Relaxing retreat!
Each year we take a family trip in memory of my father and hope to experience a relaxing and rejuvinating retreat. This home was perfect! From the beautiful views to the modern yet rustic amenities. The layout was perfect with the open space on the first floor to the the comfortable bedrooms on the two bottom stories. I would say one of the best features for our large party was having private bathrooms for most of the bedrooms! Not to mention the billiard room. My 9 year old and I enjoyed playing and my brothers enjoyed competing. We will seriously consider returning to this house again.
