The location on the front by the beach and town centre is fabulous. The house has parking around the back for two cars. This was our second visit to this property which has Bella's cafe next door and M & S Food 50 yards away. The town itself is well served by pubs, restaurants and shops and has a bustling harbour inlet to watch the world go by. Lovely.

Bus service along the coast could be a little unreliable, but they appear eventually. There is a nightclub close by which can stay open late at the weekend but it didn't bother us too much.

Good location, spacious property. Well equipped with comfy beds.

Property was not fully clean, particularly shower cubicles and kitchen appliances. Whilst location is good the noise is very loud at night, which meant could not open windows so very hot

Property was great and fully equipped with plenty of seating and overall space plus the beds were super comfortable! Loved the views looking out on the bay too.

Being right next to the night club was noisy - recommend ear plugs! The bedrooms had venetian blinds so it was very light, we bought sleep masks to have some darkness in the room. Bar stools downstairs need replacing, they were very tatty given the cost of the property.

Great location for beach access

I sent this response to Sykes Cottages support hub and have received no reply: We just enjoyed a family stay at 57 The Esplanade, Weymouth. Everything was great , except the neighbouring bar. They kept us all awake to the sound of thumping music both nights of our stay. An employee told me they have a 24 hours licence .... but they close at 4am! I told him we'd noticed that. It seems an inappropriate location for the council to grant a 24 hour licence and I suggest you contact them to change it, else put a notification on Booking.com. Please let me know the outcome, else I shall include these details on Booking and Google reviews. Apart from that we had a great time there and would recommend it. I hope you get something sorted out for future visitors.
