The food in the refrigerator was spoiled because it turned off during the day. The owner said it was because we overran the breaker, but we only had a crock pot and skillet plugged in. We also were disrupted late at night with the renter (who lives below) using the F bomb, and playing video games until 1am. The house and rooms were dirty. The pull out beds were unusable from all the crumbs and dirt. The vents are broken and filthy. There were no washcloths in the bathrooms. The sink and disposal were clogged. The outlets wouldn’t work in the kitchen, and the whole electrical system outside is a hazard. Run from this property!!!

Affordable, spacious house, lots of kids games, all kitchen amenities needed, and many beds! Easy access to ski resorts!

We stayed at the home as we ventured up into the mountains during the day to ski. The inside of the home is VERY comfortable and someone has spent a lot of time and energy refurbing the house. Still a few kinks to work out but very comfortable overall. The outside of the home did not match the elegance of the inside but as we were not utilizing outdoor spaces much (winter time), so it did not matter to us.

Place fit all our needs and was a fun stay for a snowboarding weekend.

Lots of issues were a problem. Stove in kitchen had problems with gas valves. Lower room had odor.
I would not stay at this place again.

Possibly I did not read the descriptions carefully enough but this property is pet friendly and that meant that animals had been in the house and most of my family is allergic to animal dander and so that made it problematic. That also affected the cleanliness of the property because there was a lot of animal hair in certain areas such as on the furniture. It was also awkward because there was a family living I guess in the basement apartment and I just did not realize we would have dogs in the back yard and people coming and going and children playing in the backyard. They were not a problem other than it was unexpected.

Convenient for skiing
This place was convenient to both Alta and Snowbird for us and skis can be rented at See N Ski which is only 5 minutes away. Lots of food options nearby which is nice. There is an apartment downstairs which is not always quiet but we did not find them to be bothersome.

Great home for a family meetup vacation. Spacious gathering spaces, private bedrooms, great storage for ski gear. Only 2 bathrooms, but it worked out fine for a party of 6. Kitchen is large with lots of room for people and groceries. Not very well equipped for cooking. Plenty of dishes to serve take out food. We had a couple dogs with us and they loved the big yard to explore. Not fancy, but casual and comfortable place. Easy access to the canyons and the bus lots are about 10 minutes away. Gorgeous views as soon as you pull out of the secluded drive. Would definitely return with a large group!

The location was good, Brighton, Solitude, Snowbird and Alta about 30 minutes. Was a nice neighborhood to walk. Plenty of parking. Space in the garage and mudroom to put snowboard and ski equipment Beds/bed rooms fit our group well. Nice to have washer and dryer. Kitchen was well stocked with dinnerware and utensils. Good supply of blankets and towels and washcloths.Plenty of room to spread out, two family rooms. The chess table in the upstairs family room was a hit. Has two bathrooms but one is in the master suite. We made them work but was a bit inconvenient. Basement stayed a bit cool and when we ran the portable heaters the breaker would trip, happened several times. There is a basement apartment that the occupants had dogs that were barking a lot during the day. At night they were quiet. Over all it was a good place to stay.

This is a great setup for a big family. Lots of sleeping space and great living room/kitchen area…even though it only had 2 bathrooms it is doable.

Family time
We had a wonderful time as a family for thanksgiving. My grandkids loved the treehouse and yard and the space was big enough to comfortably get together.

This is an amazing house. It’s super cute and a fun place to stay. The on-site manager was the less than ideal situation. The dogs staying with her barked throughout the stay and made it hard to sleep. Overall cleanliness was also poor, which made it hard for me to enjoy my stay

Delightful
Ellen‘s place was great! Our group of 12 fit in very comfortably here. We’ve been coming to Utah for over 20 years for our annual family ski trip and this house was perfect. Ellen was easy to contact and very accommodating. She even brought us a brand new portable heater for the basement! Such a nice lady! Highly recommend staying here.

Good and bad
Ellen is a very helpful host, but there are issues with the house itself that made our stay less than ideal. There was no heat in the basement, where most of the beds are located. In addition, the bathrooms being both on the main floor made it hard for those sleeping in the basement if they had to get up at night.
There are people living in the house, in a separate part of the basement and unfortunately they own dogs that barked every night we were there. This was particularly a problem for those sleeping in the master bedroom as the dogs appeared to be underneath them.
Otherwise the house itself was very nice and well equipped and well located for skiing the various areas around here.

Holladay Holiday!
This home was perfect for our mini-family reunion! The open floor plan was great for a group of our size. There was plenty of room in the dining room and kitchen for meals and the living room was large enough for group games and activities. There was plenty of extra space for those who needed some quiet time or a nap and the game room with ping pong and board games was a huge bonus! There were televisions upstairs and downstairs for movies in one area and video games in another. There were plenty of clean linens and comfy beds. Ideally located between Park City & Salt Lake City and close to local grocery and gas stations. There was plenty of parking and as a bonus we had a beautiful snowy holiday! Ellen has been receptive and accommodating to my inquiries before, during, and after our stay. The home and property are very family friendly and we made some wonderful family memories in Holladay!

Ellen was very responsive and accommodating.
Fits a large group well and any issues that arose were handled efficiently by Ellen. She resolved all concerns brought to her attention. Plenty of parking for multiple cars. Tucked away and private.
