Great location. Best for one night stay to experience houseboats. If you are planning to make one base for your entire Kashmir trip, Mr Goona can arrange the tours and sightseeing as a package. Staff was friendly and food was fresh and healthy. I recommend tourists visiting this place.
One needs small boat to reach the houseboat (1-2 min ride), so not well suited for very elderly people.

Mr.Goona was an excellent host and took care of our needs and things to do in Kashmir during our stay. One should request for home food that is much better than dining out.
The sound insulation in our rooms can be improved. We could easily hear every conversation and noise from the other room. This was a bit inconvenient in the morning when one is looking for those extra minutes of sleep.

Bathroom is awful. Commode was leaking and smell was really bad.

"The boat is palatial and in a great location. The owner was very helpful and arranged an airport pick up and a taxi to Pahalgam. The WiFi worked very well too."
