Located near a ski slope, in quiet place with beautiful views from the room, restaurant, spa etc. Our room was upgraded for no charge, sufficiently spacey, cosy, with bathtub and conveniently placed TV. All staff very polite and helpful. Large choice of food at the buffer dinner (half board). Nice Spa with fairly large pool.

What's completely ridiculous, given that 55-65% of visitors and thus revenue to Les 3 Vallées is foreign (official stats) , is the lack of English speaking capacity of many of the staff (more of a France-wide fenomena I guess, as even official warning signs at the ski lifts or at the spa contained grammatical errors) - lady at the Spa could not understand even days of the week and basic numbers, so booking a massage was a pretty surreal experience. You simply don't feel welcome, when people respond to you in French even though you address them in English and clearly don't speak local language (fun fact worldwide: 300mil speak French, 1,500mil speak English which is unfortunately considered world language) Limited parking space in front of hotel, had to drive down the hill the first night and park next to the road and then walk back steep uphill (later we managed to secure 1 place, but generally hotel parking was always completely full and is clearly of inadequate capacity) Bed matrasse was way too soft and pillows too stuffed for me (189/88kg), so constant back and neck pain, it was however comfortable for my spouse (167/51kg). Breakfast choice not very tasty and monotoneus - only open 7-10AM, which for holiday destination may be a bit harsh, worse yet the staff started removing items and switching off appliances (eg. toaster) as early as 9.45AM, which was rather surprising given that everyday some "night owls" were showing up pretty late. Spa is very small with only a couple of beds , completely inadequate to the size of the hotel (was never able to find a place to lay down and relax after the sauna).

War eigentlich in Ordnung (Essen, Skiraum, Wellness, Parkplatz).

Das Zimmer war extrem klein, angeblich 16m2 Jedoch gab es noch Tisch und Schrank im Zimmer Man musste sich vor dem Bett zum Bad durchzwängen. Übergewichtige Personen können den Weg hinter dem Bett zum Bad nicht passieren. Ich hätte für dieses kleine Zimmer einen tieferen Preis erwartet.
