We had a wonderful stay in this small ryokan, which is only a few minutes walk from the train station. The beat part was certainly our hostess, Yoko, who helped us navigate the city, made reservations for us, & researched our travel needs. Both the traditional & continental breakfasts were delicious! Thank you for all your help!

Breakfast was good. Hosts were very kind and accommodating. Location was very convenient for subway travel

This is a beautiful small location that is an oasis from the city. Very clean, well appointed and traditional ryokan

Absolutely loved my stay here! The hotel is beautiful, peaceful and intimate, with a lovely traditional Japanese atmosphere : tatami mats, a real futon and a beautiful garden. The location is also very convenient, with bus stops and metro stations nearby. But above all, the staff were absolutely wonderful: incredibly kind, attentive and thoughtful. They truly made us feel welcome and cared for. The Japanese breakfast was also exquisite! I 100% recommend this hotel if you’re looking for an authentic Japanese experience while still being comfortable. A truly lovely stay in Kyoto!
