We stayed for 16 nights to combine a beach holiday with visiting Dubrovnik which we did 6 times. Lapad bay is a beautiful place and the apartments location is superb with only a 4 min walk (involving some steps) to some lovely uncrowded pebble beaches & concrete platforms. The water was very clear & safe for swimming & snorkelling with lots of fish, tree shade, a great cafe for coffee & lunch, toilets, and a restaurant for watching evening sunsets on the terrace. Shops, a supermarket and loads of restaurants & gelato bars are only 5 min walk away. The Bus to Dubrovnik old town leaves every 30 mins from very near the apartment and only takes 20 mins. The apartment has aircon, a fan and window screens if you want to leave windows open although some smells from down the road creep in at night so keeping windows closed & fan on was the go. The Property is very clean. The host was lovely, with her friendly cats. Very quiet. Good WiFi. The little terrace was a lovely spot to sit, & also has a handy washing line.

Raked ceilings and a low ceiling height with beams in some places were a bit challenging. The bathroom and kitchen both have a step down you need to be careful of and outside there are steps down and up to the apartment which we found ok but might be tricky for some others. We left our beach mats & a beach towel for the next guests!

Good and beautiful location. Bus stop just on the other side of the street. Some stores and restaurants in walking distance. Many great beaches also close by. Communication was really easy with our host Ada. She replied quickly to our messages if we had any questions.

There are cats so if you are allergic that might be a problem.
