Mavis ist eine sehr aufmerksame und freundliche Gastgeberin 👍 Ich war bestens über 13 Tage versorgt und obendrein, konnte ich am Abreisetag das Late Checkout geniessen. Volle Punktzahl, besser geht’s nicht. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder.

Satish, the ground keeper was very nice and extremely helpful. He waited till 11:00pm to check me in, and he responded to all my inquiries with a smile. The beach was within walking distance. The room was spacious with beautiful decor and excellent amenities including a kitchen. The breakfast was delicious and served at the time of my choosing.

Water pressure in the shower is weak. WIFI does not work well. The location is best for people with cars or people who want to chill and relax away from everything and everyone: Walking is not an option unless you stay in Victoria, the capital as there are no sidewalks, and people drive fast here. Taxis are really expensive here e.g. 50 USD for a 15-minute drive. You can take the bus, my mode of transportation :-) but need to hustle for space sometimes, and no one with big luggage can board. Finally, checkout is at 10 am on the welcome pamphlet I received and not as advertised. When I inquired, the lady at the desk responded that the advertised 5:00am to 11:00am is the window for checkout but I need to checkout by 10:00am. What does this even mean if I cannot checkout at 10:30 or 11:00? I guess the window is not fully open 😂

If you like the Seychelles and the spirit of the islands, this is not the place for you. It lacks the charm, hospitality, and uniqueness that characterize the islands and their guesthouses. It looks like any house anywhere in the world, completely devoid of that charming Creole style. The entire place has a strong, unpleasant smell of cleaning products. The social areas resembles a hospital waiting room. There is no sense of hospitality—on our first day, there was actually no one there. It feels more like an Airbnb where communication happens via WhatsApp. We received no advice on where to eat or which beaches to visit, as there was simply no one to ask. The person who checked us in spoke neither comprehensible English nor French. At every other guesthouse we visited in Seychelles, they helped organize rental cars, bikes, and tours for us. Here, when I asked about a rental car, they just scribbled down a name (not even a phone number) on a note and told me to contact them myself. The nearby beach is not nice—actually, it was the only unappealing beach we saw during our long stay in the country. If you want to be alone, with no service, no atmosphere, nowhere to go, no soul…. This is the place for you.
