Homely feel and well looked after by host. off the beaten track, bit in a good way
Didn't bring any food as website said their was a pub with food next door as part of premise, turns out website is many years out of date but still linked to accommodation. Needed to go back off island to get food but host was great and gave us what we needed to use breakfast dining area.

Rural location but not too far from main shop restaurants etc
Continental breakfast only.
Shower took ages for warm water which seemed to be at certain times of the day.

Everything about the property was exceptional: From my personal accommodations (beautiful view, comfortable bed, spacious room) to the lovely sitting area with a warm, welcoming fire, an incredible breakfast and most importantly, the kindness and thoughtfulness of Susan and Declan. I have traveled throughout Ireland for over a decade and Achill Island/Lavelle’s Seaside House is a rare gem which was difficult to leave. 💕
Loved everything except the length of my visit; three nights was not enough. Will need to return in 2027. 😊

Next to a bar great location friendly staff clean room
No tv in room - bathroom needs updating, heating not adequate throughout building - breakfast could of been improved and self service - very overpriced not value for money
